    A dollar bill makes a model 65mm wide and 82mm tall.

    1. Start black side up. Atthe left end, mark halfway.

    At the right end, crease intoquarters.

    2. Crease anglebisector, sharp only atthe intersections noted.

    3. Pleat throughmarked intersections.

    4. Squash-fold.Rotate model aquarter turn.

    5. Closed-sink halfway. 6. Fold to middle. Hiddensquashes are necessary.

    7. Crease at quarters.Turn over.

    8. Mark halfway. Repeat onnext two quarters, but not onthe top quarter.

    9. Bring existing mountain-creases to the marks, creatinga pleat. Repeat on next twoquarters, but not the top.

    10. Unfold the pleats.Turn over.

    mark. Repeat on the left.

    13. Crease angle-bisectors,only between the pleats.Turn back over.

    14. Reform lowest pleatthrough both layers.

    15. Detail of lower-right ofmodel. Squash. The x-ray lineis the precrease from step 13.

    16. Open pleat, unfold upperlayer, re-pleat, and re-squashlower layer.

    17. Valley-fold where shown,tuck C back behind as faras possible, then squash.
