Mobility Console, the heart of xLink, provides browser-based access to all functions under security password control. Mobility Console accommodates the entry and maintenance of data such as messaging, merchandising surveys or asset management field inspections. A business analytics and report writer engine resides in Console along with an advanced document archive and query system for electronic storage of documents with signatures and imager or camera captured information. It also lets the user schedule and monitor mobile client communications.

Mobility Sync works in concert and under the control of the Mobility Console to perform authentication and validation as well as data encryption and secure communications.

xMobility Development SuiteXMobility Development Suite is a Services Oriented Architecture comprised of .Net objects and XML data stored in a SQL database. The development suite provides a common and field tested set of generic .NET services to every Xpedium mobile application deployed for Direct Store Delivery, Proof of Delivery, Field Sales/Service, Inspections and Asset Management. Mobility Designer allows extensive modifications to the behavior of the services without creating or changing any of the underlying C# code. If required, custom services may be written by Xpedium or the customer in conjunction with the licensed development suite to create highly customized applications.
