One of the many advantages of using XP Solutions products is the knowledge that we are continually improving the software, adding new features that keep our customers equipped with the latest modeling technology. The following is a list of changes made to each version of the software. VERSION 2016 Service Pack 1, 17.1 (Officially Released 6 April 2016) Enhancements

Install from the command line use the following syntax: e.g.: xpswmm2016.1.exe /i /q SetupType=Standalone LicenseFile=C:\xpswmm.xcf To uninstall from the command line e.g.: xpswmm2016.1.exe /u /q

Interface Maintenance:

The special Pump 5 dialog buttons of insert and delete are now functional. These had been inadvertently disabled in 2014. A workaround existed by using another special object type and adding rows in that dialog.

The formatting for the column header for MapInfo exported data has been updated to allow the files to be compliant with external GIS programs. Previously the MapInfo files could only be read by XP programs. Both node and link exports have been tested with various GIS programs.

With the introduction of the 2016 release some groundwater "Drain to" references were not being migrated when older version models were opened. This has now been fixed and the groundwater flow destination node and link names are no preserved from old models opened in the new version.

The release of 2016 created a situation where a few Integrated 1D/2D models executed correctly and created the model results. However the 2D Map results would not load. No other symptoms or messages were present. The code exception that presented the model results from displaying has been corrected. Note: very few models experienced this issue and it may not be realized in all your models.

Help links have been updated for Infiltration methods as they had previously went to inactive pages and required some redirects to be made

An issue with weir display that was introduced in 2016 has been fixed. In that version weirs were not showing up as rows in xptables. This is fixed in 2016.1

Several crash reports have been resolved around memory crashes for large models with DTM and displayed contours

An issue with long object names containing spaces was introduced in 2016 version. The 2016.1 version has resolved this issue and long object names are now permitted with spaces in the name such as "Long Link Representing the Ditch".

In 2016 version the Pollutant List dialog would only open if the Gauged Pollutants was enabled. This has been fixed so the Pollutant List is independent of the Gauged Pollutant choice as it was in previous versions.

The software uses two different routines for shading flooded areas with respect to Inactive Area polygons. With the "smooth contour" option a half cell of padding is added so that the contours are complete and continuous. If contours or fill is selected then the color shading will not pad a half cell in to the inactive area.

After a multilink is being digitized pressing the ESC key allows more multilinks to be digitized at a new location not appended to the last. Previously the subsequent conduits were single links.

An intermittent issue with some buttons being disabled in the outfall dialog has been resolved Rotated grids should use the XP2D Interface Utility when exporting to ASC grid files. This utility is

located in the Tools->Launch Application menu. Future development will allow rotated grid map results to be exported directly with a right-click.

A few models have had multilink name and index issues. These have been fixed for 2016.1 but it may be necessary to export the model data to XPX or other format then import to 2016.1 to fix the database corruption errors.

In the Dynamic Long Section View the user can toggle on/off the various toolbars. View->Toolbars... to control the 3 toolbars.

Some models in 2016 where not persistently keeping the graphical encoding selection. This has been fixed in the 2016.1 release.

A few models have displayed strange behavior when going to the dynamic long section after a solve for multilinks. This has been fixed.

Maintenance Engine:

A few models when solved with the choices of 64 bit and double precision failed to load Runoff binary results in the Review Results tool. This issue has been resolved by ensuring all header and indexing in the file is compatible with the 64 bit single and double precision choices.

Some bridge links with and without piers were not properly calculating the user-defined closed conduits to represent the flow under the bridge in version 2016. This resulted in no flow through the bridge. This has now been fixed and the geometry is no properly calculated.

The EpaSwmmReader.exe utility that converts SWMM5 files has been updated to include the processing of very long time series and long object names. Object names can be up to 80 characters and time series to 40,000 records.

The summary simulation start and end times has been updated to use the start and end times of each individual storm or scenario at the end of the model output file

Table R2 in the model output file that summarized hydrologic parameters has been altered to no longer truncate some parameter, as this issue was introduced in 2016

VERSION 2016, 17.0 (Officially Released 10 December 2015) Model Building & Setup

Object names such as links and nodes and diversions (pump, orifices, weirs etc.) can now be up to 80 characters in length. Objects with names longer than 20 characters will be referenced in the .out file with a database index and a legend due to formatting in tables. XPTABLES will use the full object name.

Automatically assign catchments to nodes using several methods: 1) select from all nodes inside catchment, 2) select single node nearest centroid, 3) select single node nearest vertex, or 4) select from all nodes in model. The program determines each of the preceding types for each Catchment ID and provides a user interface for the user to select their choices.

Time Series Outputs Flow Lines can now be imported from GIS files of polylines. Hydraulics Job Control now contains a field in the dialog to turn on the Initial Water Surface

Elevation and enter the initial value. The configuration parameter ZREF=X where X is the initial elevation for all nodes in the model has been added to the user interface. This parameter applies globally to all objects in the model. Varying levels are supported in each node dialog.

Connect and exchange data with Excel Workbooks with the XLSX file extension using the GIS Link using ODBC. Previously this was restricted to Excel 97-2003 Workbooks with the XLS file extension.

Set transparency for background images. This allows an aerial photo to be shown as a watermark or have less prominence against flood maps and other layers.

Standardize work flow by specifying default templates. Within organizations or based on types of models a standard or default template can be used to load common data and program formatting. The defaults can be edited in the Tools->Application Settings->Default Template Metric and Default Template US. New models based on a default template can be created using a new icon on the toolstrip and from the File menu.

Generating Ground Elevations From TIN will now produce a message with the number of nodes that have been modified.

Automatically calculate the orifice area for rectangular and circular conduits from a Calculation dialog. This essentially allows dimensions rather than a precomputed area to be input to the model.

When a list dialog is opened a starting row is introduced to facilitate a copy from the buffer. For example, if a hydrograph is copied in another program then the User Inflow dialog is opened in XP a blank row will be introduced which can be right-clicked for Paste.

When importing from SWMM5 the conversion utility will now use a default of 0.0 for the Initial Abstraction to be compatible with SWMM5 which does not have that parameter. This was previously a value of 0.2 which is a typical default for the SCS method.

2D Enhancements Convert user inflow hydrographs from TS1 files (new utility). These files are typically exported

from the Drains program for input in to Tuflow. The utility reads the TS1 file and generates the XPX file with the user inflow hydrograph data. Please note that at the current time the hydrographs are imported but not enabled, as this step requires the User Inflow Flag to be turned on in another step.

2D diagnostics can now be selectively displayed such as only warning and error and not check messages. Each message type has a unique color such as yellow for warning, red for error and blue for check.

The summary table for Evacuation routes reports the x,y or easting and northing location. Simulate 2D models directly in US Customary Units. In the 2D Job Control select Use Project

Units and the internal calculations will be US unit based. Previously US unit models were pre and post processed to metric.

2D Evacuation Routes are now updated and displayed when modeled with scenarios. The latest Tuflow Utilities are included in xpswmm 2016. The latest Tuflow release has been incorporated in to 2016 version (Build 2013-12-AE).

Sewer Enhancements

Sewersheds. This new layer is made of polygons that can be attached to Hydraulic nodes for the purpose of visualizing and calculating the sewershed area for dry weather flows. They are created and edited in a similar way to catchment polygons. This new layer is stored in a SpatiaLite database that is very efficient for vector data.

Results/Reports

World File. When using Tools->Export Graphics a world file is now exported with the graphic and a world file can be separately exported as well.

Compare and create a difference .xmdf file from more than one simulation with a new utility. This difference file can be added to the interface to show maximum and time series differences between two model runs.

Other Enhancements A new WIKI styled online help is now available with the software. Help from dialogs and

windows now point to appropriate redirected URL on help.xpsolutions.com. More specific Tooltips are displayed for each of the Basin Optimization options mentioning if

pipes sizes and storage are increased or decreased with the selected choice. License Tracking. The File->Properties dialog now displays the license used to create the model

and the license last used to edit the loaded .xp database file. The availability of the RTC module is now included in the Help->License menu which loads the

License Detail dialog. Here you can see all license limits including modules and node and 2D cell size limits.

Network licenses are now built in to the license configuration file. Network licensing can only be obtained with this option enabled in the configuration file.

This version 2016 and later versions no longer supports parallel port (Sentinel C Plus B) hardware locks. Only Sentinel SuperPro USB locks are supported in the current version.

The xp diagnostic has been updated to include the network option if present in the xcf file. To remove confusion the text box related to Surcharge Elevation of storage nodes is grayed out for

the case of Use Spill Crest Elevation as it does not apply. An opportunity to beta test GPU solving for 2D only models exists with xpswmm/xpstorm. This

feature and future add-on module can be enabled for a limited time for testing by contacting XP Solutions.

New graphics for the xpswmm/xpstorm opening banner dialog and the About dialog have been incorporated in the 2016 version.

A new, more informative message has been created to indicate that the number of nodes or links has been reached when the number of objects compared to your license limit has been exceeded.

The software now displays water marks in the lower right hand corner for license that are Training, Evaluation and Authorized XP Solutions Partner.

The latest Sentinel Drivers 7.6.8 is now used in version 2016. This may require a reboot of the computer at the end of the installation if the drivers were not already the most recent on the computer before the installation.

Maintenance

Some minor alignment of results in the .out file have been performed. Windows XP is no longer supported in xpswmm 2016 and xpstorm 2016 and later. Soil Type and rainfall depth have now been added as fields for selection in XP Tables for the LA

hydrology method. 2D diagnostics can now be selectively displayed such as only warning and error and not check

messages. Each message type has a unique color such as yellow for warning, red for error and blue for check.

External data (from Excel or similar) that is pasted into XP Tables is now stored and recalled even if the XP Table save dialog is not used. If the user saves the project the XP Table data is permanently stored in the project.

Text size and color and font for evacuation cutoff can be adjusted for display purposes. An issue with exporting to ASC Grid files for very large models has been addressed. Very large

models can now be successfully exported from the interface as opposed to requiring the export to be performed using the 2D Utilities. Both options are now viable for large models.

When creating a new xp project database and after assigning a project name the user must now select the units and press continue. After that step the new project creation can be canceled.

An error preventing solving using the EPA SWMM 4 Hydraulic solutions has been repaired. When the hardware lock has been disconnected the program will now give a clear text message

when closing rather than a program crash message.

The crown of top of the weir is correctly identified as Weir Crown Elevation in the RTC dialog. It had been referred to as Weir Surface previously. This is the elevation that the weir uses to switch to orifice flow from weir flow.

Conduit Profile Design and Natural Surface Offset and Elevation pairs can now be edited in a table in xptables by adding the variables "Link Design Surface" and Link Natural Surface". Previously these were picked from the list as Elevation and Offset.

The field info for the conduit Flows: Free, Downhill only and Uphill only correctly return the string value of 0, 2 and 1 respectively for XPX import/export file preparation.

The Global Storm and Scenario names are prevented from allowing some special characters that cannot be used in the subsequent file names for the result files.

An issue regarding storage nodes with constant surface are has been resolved for the xpswmm5 engine.

The software now prevents the creation of Global Storm Names that cannot be valid file names. The 1D/2D Interface Line Profile tool has been fixed to report the correct associated cell elevations

used for this 2D line boundary. The Properties of River Links now include the ability to edit the font for the River name. Change

font type, color, size etc. A program error that prevented the Properties for Evacuation Routes has been fixed for the 2016

version. Users can now specify the size, color and fonts used for the cutoff times. The Find Object... <CTRL>+F menu option has both node and links checked as the default. When viewing water quality land use in xptables the row order can be changed: When the cursor

changes from an arrow pointing to the left to a regular mouse cursor, click and hold down the left mouse button then drag the row to the top. Release the left button.

In the case of some large models using the Sacramento Hydrology method there was some cases where the automatic initialization for unit hydrographs was insufficient. At that time the workaround was to use the configuration parameter SAC_UI=X where X was a large enough value such as 500. This has been fixed in 2016 version and no manual editing using a configuration parameter us required.

The selection of UK hydrology parameters in XPTables for the Variable PR has been fixed to include all dialog parameters.

An issue of more than one subcatchment in a node using the UK variable PR method has been resolved. Previously, the software would generate a false error message related to slope.

2D/2D Interface lines are now treated as other polylines and can have a vertex added. The loading and saving of color graduations for layers such as 2D Maps Water Depth and Elevations

now includes the first and last peg colors. Arch Pipes, Horizontal and Elliptical Pipes are now selected from drop down lists. Previously these

shapes were selected by using a major axis and then picking a closest size. The list now removes any ambiguity and the direct size conduit can now be selected from the list. Old models are converted from the previous dimension to the new list selection.

TAB allows navigation from field to field in all dialogs including UK hydrology, XPWSPG and LID where it was not previously implemented.

The EPA SWMM input file reader now supports commented subcatchments. Previously the reader could not tolerate rows starting with an "*".

The 3d view of layered flow constrictions now appropriately draws differences between depth of layer and specific crown(obvert) elevations.

When ridge and gullies have vertices inserted the order of the existing data in the table is maintained. New elevations can be inserted and interpolated.

When a model is rerun a new range will be populated in the dialog when the range is restricted for display purposes such as Max depth.

The Izzard Tc calculation has been updated to use the specific equations for US Customary and Metric units.

A display error while viewing bridge links in Review Results has been fixed. In that result view if more than one link was selected the bridge hydrograph would be the sum of all of the hydrographs in the selection set.

The extent of the colour in 1D channels when using Water Level Lines (WLL) is representative of the width of the flow in the channel. 2013 and 2014 versions where colouring in the zero colour to the extent of the WLL.

Several Tc calculations have been updated to correctly take in to account the units. In some cases corresponding equations for metric or US units where used and in other cases conversions are made and the native equation is used which was typically US units.

The Global Database records for RDII can now be both imported and exported using the Import/Export External Databases wizard. Previously only import was supported but now we can have records both imported and exported allowing changes in XP to easily go back to a referenced geodatabase or other tabular source.

An issue with reading external flow files has been fixed. In some cases the data was being read as dd/mm/yr when mm/dd/yy was selected.

The Uniform Loss and SCS Loss method infiltration records will now copy all data when the global database record is duplicated.

A new warning has been implemented when the Runoff time step is less than 60 seconds: "WARNING: RNF: Wet Time Step < 60 seconds increases run and graphing time and may not be optimal for the selected method.

The ESC key has no function while digitizing trigger points for dynamic elevation shapes. Previously pressing the ESC key while editing the Trigger Points layer created a trigger point at the current mouse position.

Bridge Link details can now be viewed in xptables. A group (folder) can be selected to view/edit all Bridge Link dialog data.

An issue involving the constant inflow of a river link node has been fixed. Previously a value ending with 0 would have the 0 removed after closing the dialog. 4 decimal places are now stored for this field.

All curvilinear unit hydrographs for SCS now use a Gamma function. In versions prior to 2016 there were hard coded UH for 256, 284, 323 and 484. To invoke the previous computation use the configuration parameters SCS_484_UH, SCS_323_UH, SCS_256_UH and SCS_284_UH.

Runoff Node dialog changes can be copied and pasted without having to first close the dialog to commit the changes to the database. This update is for both the Runoff node dialog and the Subcatchment dialog which in recent versions only copied and pasted committed data by first clicking OK on the dialog.

Using the help button in the Hydraulics Storage Node Data dialog will launch the correct help screen. In 2014 this dialog did not jump to the correct help section.

An issue where evacuation cutoff markers where not removed on a new model run when the evacuation route is removed has been addressed. Right-click on the Evacuation Route Cutoff Times layer and choose Clear to remove them.

Various updates to the EPASWMM Reader Utility such as supporting a better conversion for Curve number loss and skipping commented (inactive) rows and better name handling.

A warning message will be displayed for the combination of 2D GPU and the Double Precision selection in the 2D Job Control. This message is appropriate since the double precision significantly reduces run time and should only be used if necessary.

Modifications have been made to make the natural channel cross section import more robust when imported from a SWMM5 input file. Previously some files would import without the cross section being connected to the reach.

Time Series Outputs->Head / Velocity Points can now be imported from GIS. Right-click on the layer and choose Import From GIS to create the points from MapInfo or ESRI Shape files.

When a Natural Channel Link is being deleted a message now appears allowing the user to keep or discard the associated Natural Section shape.

Missing Bridge link data such as reach length and roughness now generate warning message before solve. This data if missing will not allow flow to go through the bridge link.

The flow unit (cfs or cms) is now displayed in the tooltip for the Inlet Capacity Maximum Capacity field.

A correction was made to the spelling of the header in the materials csv file. Edits made in the DTM builder table will now be used in the triangulation process. In previous

versions these new edits were not part of the triangulation and only the imported data was used. Some special cases of SCS method with Metric Units reported incorrect runoff depths in Table R9.

This has now been fixed by appropriately accounting for the units in all cases. An issue involving the shifting of the time base when simulating multiple Snyder hydrographs has

been resolved. All unit hydrographs are now independent of each other and are no longer influenced by other subcatchments.

Error messages are now triggered and displayed when solving a Sacramento method hydrology model and the templates are not present. Those templates can be obtained from the Resource Center at: http://xpsolutions.com/Software/XPSWMM/Resource-Center/.

A previous case changed in 2014 "FB 5464" was an initialization issue not only about Global Storms but for all models using multiple Green Ampt infiltration rates. Until version 2014 the software recognized only one set of green ampt infiltration values per model run. This has been fixed since 2014 version and may result in large differences in Runoff flow from earlier versions.

User defined closed conduits can now have the tabular input data graphed. Choose Depth vs. Area, Wetted Perimeter or Surface Width. These graphs like all others can be edited and exported by first right-clicking on the graph.

The "R" in the RTK method now has increased precision to 4 decimals. Some text was misaligned in the External Database Wizard when switching object types. This has

been fixed. Options to select alternative analytical engines still in development has been removed. These

options were available in the Configuration->Mode Properties->Methods dialog as SWMM5 and XPSWMM5. They can be enabled by adding the following items to the swmxp.ini file: [DEVELOPMENT] ENGINISSIMO=ON SWMM5=ON

An issue with editing the start date and time of rainfall records introduced in the 2014SP1 version has been addressed. In that version the Job Control Flag "Use Simulation Start Time For Rainfall Event" was preventing the edit even if the flag was in the correct state to allow editing.

The program has been upgraded with the MFC feature pack which allows dockable tabbed windows.

A few aesthetic changes have been made to dialogs so that text was not hidden or overlapping. The creation of contours on depth flood maps is now nearly continuous. Earlier versions often

created short line segments due to clipping at inactive areas and grid boundary limits. Use the xpswmm linked Tuflow dll similar to a standalone TUFLOW license. However it must be

called from the xpswmm engine which reads a .dat file. This is documented in the Knowledgebank on the support portal in the article called "Use the xpswmm dongle as a TUFLOW license".

In certain cases with large numbers of storms and large numbers of scenarios the Storm and scenario label were not well ordered. This has been fixed and the correct scenario name and storm name and the data is well ordered when displayed in xptables.

When creating river links a new dialog assigning River Link Name and drawing properties such as font and color will appear. Also a new 10pt font is set as the default.

An issue relating to imported multilink conduits not having their conduit flag active has been repaired. Now when importing conduits and mapping to the Conduit Flag (_CONDFLAG) a value of 1 will turn on the flag. In addition this development also removed a crash on some files that mapped to the Special Conduit shapes.

The LID capability introduced in 2014 as a beta has been withdrawn from 2016. It will be reintroduced in a future version with new dialogs specific for SWMM5 based modeling.

A few crash reports on 2D Result load have been investigated and resolved. A significant improvement in software stability has been achieved in this area.

A speed improvement has been implemented for viewing 2D Post processed results by increasing the buffer size.

A warning message is now generated if Max of Storms is selected in Global Storms when attempting to show the Dynamic Plan View. That combination does not produce a time series to be animated and hence the user is prevented from that false selection.

The export of ESRI Grid has been enhanced to prevent the export of holes due to the sampling on rotated grids.

VERSION 2014, SP1, 16.1 (Officially Released 17 November 2014) Enhancements

Automated Storm Generation. New Storm generators have been added in the Global Database under Rainfall -> Create Storm: Chicago Storms, and U.K. FSR/FEH storms. Several durations can be chosen at one time and all storms generated using the appropriate parameters describing the intensity from an IDF curve.

A Grids Layer is added to Topography. It accepts polygons to expose the underlying triangulation of the xptin. Note: displaying many thousands or more of triangles will slow the performance of the screen draw.

The software now imports and exports to LandXML an expanded set of variables including catchment polygons, catchment attachments and runoff node data. This is in addition to the typical pipe network and is accomplished by publishing a new schema for LandXML defined by XP Solutions.

RTK parameters can now be imported from External Databases such as Excel, Access etc. This import allows an easy import of the parameters that are determined by using the EPA SSOAP Toolbox.

An updated version of the Basic-Tables.xpx is now included in the Templates folder. If the XP SWMM5 engine is selected the Review Results of Runoff nodes will show the node flow

time series using the same formatted results file from the default 32 or 64 bit analysis engine The master templates have been updated for US and metric units. These and other sample

templates can be found in the Templates folder and on the xpswmm/xpstorm wiki page at: https://xpsolutions.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=491525

A New Resource Center for xpswmm and xpstorm has been created at: https://xpsolutions.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=491525 This site contains templates, getting started tutorials and sample files. These are no longer part of the installation package and are continuously updated on the mentioned site.

UK rainfall provided in .REDX files can be directly read by referencing in the Global Database->Rainfall->Load Rainfall File. This same format is also used in MicroDrainage and other software.

A check is now in place that checks the time of concentration (R_TC) against the wet time step (R_WET) for the following runoff methods: SCS Hydrology, Unit hydrograph (all but Snyder Alameda), Rational formula. If R_TC < R_WET a warning message is issued: "Time of concentration for catchment XY is smaller than the wet time step. The runoff method is not designed for this and may deliver inappropriate results. Please adjust your wet time step."

The software ships with the latest Tuflow 2013-12-AC engine which powers the 2D module The default maximum number of text objects has been increased to 400 from 40. User can set

other values in Tools->Application Settings->Config->Maximum Texts or by editing the same in the swmxp.ini

Maintenance

The Global Database record rainfall date and time fields are now correctly enabled/disabled with the checkbox in RNF:Job Control->Use Simulation Time For Rainfall Event. In 2014 the fields were permanently disabled and the records could not be edited.

Support for large scale printing and plotting has been fixed. The order of operations is to first select the printer and the paper including the orientation in Print Setup. Next go to Page Setup and adjust margins and scale. Choose Preview then Print.

The software now directs users to Load the most up to date LA rainfall file called "LA Rainfall Database by Minute.xpx" from the LA:Runoff Job Control->Rainfall Template->Load File

Depths equal to or under 0.05m or 0.16ft for natural channels are considered to be a value of zero. A zero depth natural channel is a special case meaning use the entire cross section. In order to use very small depth of natural channels then the configuration parameter NATDEEP_0.05 can be used.

When printing from preview of Dynamic Section Views the current panes can be printed The help file has been updated to instruct how the software can use new or older 2 Result formats

(XMDF or DAT) When a vertex is moved on a ridge or a gully the elevation data is no longer cleared. Note: This

movement or inserting and deleting a vertex likely requires user input for new elevations. The rainfall utility will be prevented from execution if there are errors in the rainfall utility setup.

Previously the utility would execute with some errors and fail to run. Improvements were made to the interface which enhance the functionality of Gauged Data. The

data can be viewed graphically within the Gauged Flow dialog. In addition the data will display in Review Results based on the Job Control start and end dates and times.

The SCS Shape factor with field name R_SCS_SHP can now be selected from the Node Variable List for XPTABLES. This field is no longer shared with the Laurenson method.

An error message is now displayed when the sum of the storage node initial depth plus invert exceeds the Basin Optimization maximum water level. This prevents the infinite iterations to the solution that cannot be solved.

The Tc calculator has been fixed to correctly calculate the Time of Concentration in minutes for the Kinematic Wave in both US Customary and metric units by employing appropriate coefficients

An issue with exporting to ASC Grid files for very large models has been addressed. Very large models can now be successfully exported from the interface as opposed to requiring the export to be performed using the 2D Utilities. Both options are now viable for large models.

The user selectable layers of Time to Peak V and H can now be exported to GIS as ASC grid files and shape and MapInfo files

More comprehensive error messages are written to trap user error for Type 3 outfalls. For example the selection of Stage History without entering the stage history data generated an error message that at least two rows of data are required.

RTK parameters can now be imported from External Databases such as Excel, Access etc. This import allows an easy import of the parameters that are determined by using the EPA SSOAP Toolbox.

When deleting a parent scenario all child scenarios are also deleted. This fixes an issue where previous versions would allow child scenarios to reappear when a model was reopened.

The bridge dialog Max WSEL default has been changed to 0.0. In addition the tooltip for the field states "Bridge Maximum WSEL".

A small error that prevented an entire rainfall series to be displayed in the InterfaceUtils.exe program has been addressed and the full time series display is no longer truncated

Corrected initial application of rainfall from Rainfall-Flow Area polygon so that exact rainfall rate is applied throughout the first rainfall time interval without any interim stacking or padding of initial volume

Inactive object label font color changed from white to gray in xptables

New default colors and line sizes are set for most 2D and topographic layers. This is easily customized by each user if a template is created and employed for each new model.

The dialog and column label for 2D head and flow boundaries are more descriptive for the units required in the second column

Exported time series from Review Results is exported as UTF-16 text files. To view this as gauged data required converting to ANSI/ASCII however, this type of file is now directly supported without any data conversion required.

When using the XPSWMM5 engine, intermediate processing points can be viewed as unique model result locations so that water levels down the conduit can be viewed in the Review Results and the Dynamic Long Section

Modified basket handle conduit areas are now correctly computed and reported The Flow Constriction layers can now have their geometry exported to GIS. Since this layer can

support polylines and polygons two sets of GIS files are produced in each export. One for any polylines and another for any polygons.

2D Elevation Shape changes dialog have a label fixed as well as now allowing changes to be applied to all objects and selected objects. This tool is particularly important for adding buildings by a constant adjustment to all polygons based on the existing ground elevation.
