Our Brazing traditionOver 100 years ago in 1906, Mr. Wasserman started his business with the development, produc-tion and sales of brazing fluxes. In the following years, Castolin was formed and began to devel-op new low temperature and eutectic brazing alloys.

Castolin was not only revolu-tionary in terms of its develop-ments, in patents and in manu-facturing processes, but also in training salesmen and custom-ers on the brazing and solder-ing methods. non-corrosive aluminium fluxes in the 60’s, the first aluminium pastes in the 70’s and the first nickel pastes in the late 70’s. These products were 15 to 20 years before their time. Castolin Eutectic has patented over 200 products in its history and is still developing and improving products and processes for its customers today.

Not a single product

Castolin Eutectic employs many engineers and technicians solely focused on solving the technical problems of our customers. The main research and development laboratory for brazing product within Castolin Eutectic is close to Paris, France. This laboratory is one of the most advanced brazing technology research laboratories in Europe.

This facility is equipped for in-depth studies of all types of brazing and soldering applica-tions and problems or challeng-

es. Castolin Eutectic not only has scanning election microscopes, sample preparation equipment viscosometers, thermal analyti-cal equipment and many other specialised equipment, but also has a well trained and customer oriented technical team.

Our team has examined over 3’500 metallurgical samples in the last 15 years, identifying the root causes of problems as well as recommending the required solutions. As a Castolin Eutectic customer, you will receive the

absolute best care and service to ensure the quality and efficien-cy of your production. Castolin Eutectic brazing R&D Center in France is also ISO certified.

TeroLink®

In order to transfer these solu-tions from one country to anoth-er, Castolin Eutectic has devel-oped an application database called TeroLink®. This electron-ic program currently contains about 7'600 solutions which allows us to demonstrate and offer tested and proven solu-tions to our customers.

subjects also gives us a chance to have different performances so that, depending

on the application, customer can choose between several options among less fluid

and more fluid.”

NEW COMPLETE XUPERPHOS RANGE

NEW RANGE includes XuperPhos technology where we have three different alloys. These alloys have three different properties but with a distinct advantage of being able to control the melting of the alloy during brazing whilst clearly being able to see the alloy during brazing.

Xuper CuP/CuPAg This composition gives you a lower fluidity of the three alloys. These exceptional properties are ideal when trying to control the wetting on smaller joint areas.

Xuper PLUS CuP/CuPAg This alloy combination allows for the highest fluidity. This alloy is ideal for brazing joints with a larger surface area.

Xuper PREMIUM CuP/CuPAg The highest quality of the alloys in the Xuperphos range. The unique properties allow for a lower fluidity that is not dense affording the operator ease of use. The alloy is easy to work with a very smooth wetting effect which is especially ideal for use on difficult to access and problematic joints.
