XXIX Seminario Anual de Automática, Electrónica Industrial e Instrumentación The twenty-ninth edition of the Annual Seminar on Automation, Industrial Electronics and Instrumentation (SAAEI'22) will take place on July 6, 7 and 8 in LLeida, organized by the Polytechnic School of the University of LLeida (UdL), which in 2021 celebrated its 30th anniversary, with the collaboration of the Industrial Automation and Electronics Group belonging to the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) of Tarragona. The SAAEI is an annual congress and it is addressed to researchers and companies at international level, so participants can share the results of their research, exchange ideas, and create gropus or consortia to undertake future joint projects with greater efficiency and impact. The congress seeks communications describing research original works in the fields of automatic control, power electronics, renewable energies, electrical vehicles and instrumentation. The modality of SAAEI'22 conference, face-to-face or virtual will depend on the appropriate health recommendations, although this time, we expect a face-to-face edition. The official languages of the congress will be Spanish and English. CONFERENCE SUBJECTS Power conversion techniques. Control techniques in power converters. Instrumentation and measurement systems. Sensor networks. Semiconductor devices and passive components. Applications to electrical power systems. Biomedical engineering. Technological applications. Industry 4.0. Electric mobility and electric vehicle. Didactic applications. Precision agriculture and livestock. WORKS SUBMISISON

The work must have a minimum length of four pages and a maximum of six, and must incorporate the references, figures, tables and formulas required for an appropriate understanding of the text. The submitted work should not contain any information about the article authors, their filiations, and should avoid the inclusion of self-references. The work must be written in one of the conference languages, spanish or english. The articles will be submitted exclusively through the EasyChair platform, with link https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=saaei2022, which wiill be also available on the conference website (www.saaei.org). The article must be submitted in PDF format, following the template available on the website. There, the following data concerning the submmitted work must be given:

Title. Authors. Thematic area (Conference subject). Presentation preference (oral or poster). An An abstract with less than 3000 characters.

NEWS AND REGISTRATION Alll participants of SAAEI'22 must register. At least, one of the authors of each article must appear in the list of registered participants, not being necessary that the author who makes the submission be the same one who registers. Each author may submit up to a maximum of two articles per registration at no additional cost. Students will have access to a reduced cost record that will allow them to submit a single article. All sessions will be boradcast online for those latin-american participants who decide to send their contributions the the conference. These sessions will be also recorded and will be available only for those virtual participants during the whole conference.

CONFERENCE VENUE The congress will takeplace at the Superior Polytechnic School (EPS), located at the Cappont Campus, near the river. During the congress, the meetings of the Spanish Chapter of the IEEE PELS-IES and the Spanish Chapter of the IEEE IMS will take place. There will be also an exhibition of products from the sponsoring companies. Other activities will include: the cultural visit, the welcome cocktail, and the gala dinner. Details of all these social events can be found in the conference website.
