Helen’s reasons• Thunderbird: I picked this as I

thought it represented my dad very well. It symbolizes power, strength and leadership and they are all virtues that my dad has.

• Moon: I picked this because it reminded me of my mum who, in our family, is a sort of protector and guardian and so it seemed a good choice.

• Hawk: This one was a messenger • Hawk: This one was a messenger and also represented strength, which reminded me of all my family but especially my brother, who is always on the move, has a very good memory and is strong.

• Wolf: I chose this one for myself but it really represents the whole family. It symbolizes intelligence and leadership. We are all intelligent and are all leaders in our own ways in my family.

• Here is what I put into a Totem pole for my family! I am the wolf as I always have new ideas and am a leader!, my mum is the sun as she provided me with life, my dad is the moon as he protects my family and provides for all of us.

• My mum is the loon because she is lovely and she is into culture so that why she is the Loon she loves peace.

• Now me the Halibut I am strong and I works very hard .

• My Oupa is the Eagle Feathers because he is always respectful he is kind and he is always honouring.kind and he is always honouring.

• My Dad on the other hand is a Salmon because you can always relay on him he is a great provider he takes care of use so gracefully.

• Melissa my sister she is a Beaver because she loves to do art she can be determined to do certain things as she loves playing the guitar and drums as when she is resourceful she will give you info and my mum is resourceful too.

• I chose the raven at the top because the part were it says the “raven is a trickster” reminds me of my brother who is annoying and try’s to tricks me [not that he has ever succeed. He hasn’t].

• I chose the wolf because of its wisdom that reminds me of my dad who is a very excellent chess player.

• I chose the beaver because I am • I chose the beaver because I am very creative, I do acting, magic tricks, book writing and drawing and designing traps.

• I chose the salmon because it reminds me of my parents who are really good cooks because when it says it is a provider.

• And I chose the dogfish because… I know this sounds stupid but… I own a dog and a fish and I think they count.
