Monaco Yacht Show continues to improve year on year. This year’s yacht show was yet a further development on the success of last years show. This not only refl ects the positive turn in the superyacht industries economic development, but also that of a more commercially alert show organisation.

For example, by increasing the cost of the show’s entrance tickets this year by nearly 100%, to €140 each, the show organisers helped improve the quality of the visitors – only those truly interested or professionally motivated now attend.

Yachting Pages Media Group successfully distributed a total of 500 YPD packs to yachts and exhibitors before the end of the second day. This also includes the yachts at anchor within approx three nautical miles of Port Hercule.

1. 98 yachts at anchor

• Using our specially chartered tender provided by Ocean Pro, we personally visited all of the superyachts at anchor up to three nautical miles from Port Hercule. Please refer to the illustration below (not all of the yachts visited are shown – some do not share their GPS location readily!)

Your Account Manager has access to the photographic proof of deliveries for each and every yacht we delivered to. If you would like a copy of these, then please do not hesitate to ask. Please be aware that these photos are not to be published.

We delivered, by hand, to each of the 139 yachts over 20m present at this year’s show. These deliveries were actually completed before the start of the show, on the first day – meaning that the yachts had your materials on board from the moment the show officially opened.

Of the 486 exhibitors present, we personally targeted only those which fit into the following criteria;

• Direct & frequent contact with High Net Worth Individuals and their decision makers, e.g. yacht management and brokerage companies.

• Direct & frequent contact with superyacht captains and their crews, e.g. ports & marinas.

• Influential relationships and interactions within the international superyacht industry, e.g. naval architects.

4. 17 yachts in nearby ports

All yachts at anchor receive a special Yachting Pages goodie bag (which can be clearly seen in some of the POD photographs).

As we do not know the exact number of yachts at anchor until we get out on the tender, we always over estimate the number of bags needed. The remaining bags are then delivered to the largest yachts in neighbouring ports.

The ports were Cap d’Ail and Nice Vieux Port.

The bags were made up us follows;
