To what extent can it govern the audience’s reaction?
• Made in 1968
• Sci-fi film set in the future about a planet of apes (!)
• This scene is the hunt scene where armed apes on horseback chase stranded humans
• Jerry Goldsmith wrote much music for American film and TV
• He liked to experiment with instrumental sound
