Our Topic This Term isRelight My Fire

During this term we will learn about TheGreat Fire of London. We will learn aboutthe key people, for example Samuel Pepys:and the role they had to play in theseevents. We will learn about how the firestarted, where London is on a map of theUnited Kingdom and we will also be makingTudor houses of our own.

Linking in with our topic of Relight My Firewe will be learning about the features of arange of texts including information andexplanation books, dictionaries andglossaries, leaflets and diary entries, anduse what we find out to help us with ourown writing.

The children will also be doing lots of workbased on comprehension activities to showthey have understood what they have read.
