With the inspiration of faculty members, “Phenomenal Woman” made by the students of B.A (JMC) won the first prize in the Scriptwriting Category at Amity University Students Film Festival in Jaipur during October 13-14, 2017. The theme of the festival was “Envisioning a Better Tomorrow” and “Social Inclusion”.

SRMU bagged two First Prizes in Singing & Dance Category in the Grand Finale of TASHANBAAZ – SEASON 4 of Red FM 93.5 on September 09, among 32 finalists of various Institutes/Universities.

In singing category, Vishal Pratap Singh, B. Tech ME III Year student bagged the first prize with his performance whereas in dance category, Satakshi Saxena, B. A. (J&MC) I Year won the winner trophy with her heart throbbing dance performance.
