Friday 5 th June 2015 Dear Parents/Carers, As part of our Ancient Egypt topic we are planning on holding an Egyptian Day on Thursday 9 th July. These days have proved very popular with the children in previous years and although this is a busy time, we didn’t want the children to miss out on this fun day. The children are invited to dress up as Egyptians on the day, although this is optional, and they will be involved in lots of creative activities. Please bear in mind that the children will still be going outside at playtime and lunchtime, weather permitting. Below are some ideas of the types of costumes children have worn in previous years. We have found that many of the costumes involved adapting a white sheet or oversized t-shirt or the use of bandages. Please don’t feel the need to spend lots of money buying a costume. Thanking you for your support. Mrs Hewitson Mrs Shaller Mrs Whitney

    Dear Parents/Carers,

As part of our Ancient Egypt topic we are planning on holding an

Egyptian Day on Thursday 9th July. These days have proved very

popular with the children in previous years and although this is a busy

time, we didnt want the children to miss out on this fun day. The

children are invited to dress up as Egyptians on the day, although this is

optional, and they will be involved in lots of creative activities. Please

bear in mind that the children will still be going outside at playtime and

    lunchtime, weather permitting.

Below are some ideas of the types of costumes children have worn in

previous years. We have found that many of the costumes involved

adapting a white sheet or oversized t-shirt or the use of bandages.

Please dont feel the need to spend lots of money buying a costume.

    Thanking you for your support.
