Create an information text about an echidna. Think about what subheadings you will use. Can you find the most interesting facts?

Spelling We are learning to: Spell words accuratelyPlay Celebrity Heads by using your spelling words. A family member choses one of your words. You have to figure out which word they are by asking a bunch of questions with yes/no answers like:

Am I a verb? Do I start with a vowel? Am I an animal?

Once you have guessed the word, you then have to spell it aloud.

HandwritingWe are learning to: Produce clearly-formed joined letters.

Wax-coated paper obviously works well, and you can also use aluminum foil and/or cardboard to make boats.Give everyone in the family the same materials and then see who can build a boat that can sail the farthest in the natural breeze. If that’s tricky, see who can build the boat that can hold the most coins or marbles.
