Year 6 Leadership Program
Dear student participant,
‘Outdoor Leadership Expedition’ Program
Thursday, 22nd—Friday, 23rd March 2018
Bournda EEC is expecting to work with you over the two days of this Year 6 Outdoor Leadership Expedition Program.
You will need to arrive at Bournda EEC at 9.30am on day one and be picked up at the Field Studies Huts at 2.30pm on day two. A Bournda EEC staff member will accompany you and run the program, with Wolumla PS school staff.
You will be staying at the Bournda Field Studies Huts overnight. These huts are an A-frame structure which have canvas and insect netting sides attached to the two ends. The A-frames are raised up off the ground and have a tin roof to protect you from inclement weather.
You will be required to only carry a day pack with your morning tea and lunch (in a lunchbox) and drink (in water bottles) and wet weather gear. In a separate overnight bag you will need the remainder of your gear for the overnight stay.
