• Boomerang Measuring, marking out, use of vise, tenon saw, mallet & chisel, gluing, nailing and screws plus finishes. Drilling machine, scroll saw, and belt sander.
• Each Core project will employ AutoCad drawing techniques and Free Hand Three-Dimensional Drawing as design room availability allows.

The depth and complexity of this process will increase project by project, year by year, as the student's knowledge and maturity increases.

Task Name: Picture Frame
You are to construct the picture frame as per teacher instruction. You will; also, be required to produce a CAD drawing of your frame. You will also be required to draw a suitable shape to be cut from the front panel of the frame; this will be done in Auto CAD. Your shape will be cut on the laser. You will also be required to fit a clear acrylic sheet to your frame to protect the picture.

You are to design a Key Tag of dimensions 100*40. You bare to utilise a DXF file from the internet as part of your design. The DXF must be suitable for a school setting. The Tag will be cut using the Laser.
