Disaster Relief

The Aerojet Rocketdyne Foundation Scholarship Program awards four-year scholarships to employees’ children. In 2018, 11 students received scholarships. Administered through the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, these scholars are recognized nationally for outstanding academic achievement.

Aerojet Rocketdyne employees responded generously to the Foundation’s disaster relief matching program for hurricane victims in the Southeast and the West Coast wildfires. The Aerojet Rocketdyne Foundation matched employee donations to the American Red Cross, dollar-for-dollar up to various levels per disaster. Since 2001, foundation matching has provided almost $340,000 to the American Red Cross’ disaster relief efforts, in addition to employees’ donations.
