Send outgrown clothes to Schoola

Donate clothes (infant to high school sizes) to Schoola’s internet store with their free shipping process. (Be sure to designate Westlake Charter School). When anyone throughout the U.S.A. purchases your donated clothes on the Schoola.com website, 40% of proceeds from each sale goes to WCS. It benefits WCS to have us clean our closets and donate our gently-used, pre-loved, quality clothes!

School Cents program runs August 1 through May 1

This is a points competition with area schools with an annual Grand Prize of $3,000. Attend free monthly Saturday Kids Club fun events at the mall & check in at the table with mall staff for WCS to earn 1,000 pts for each child attending — and you earn one WCS parent volunteer hour! And each purchase you make at Arden Fair Mall can earn points for our school: 5 pts for every $1 spent when you log your receipts for WCS at the mall information booth anytime. We have School Cents receipt collection boxes in our school office where receipts can be returned to you upon request & the WAVE School Cents volunteer will log pts for you. The School Cents competition is only for Arden Fair Mall stores, from Sears Automotive to Macy’s (nothing past GoodYear). New this year: Easily upload receipts to earn points for WCS in this competition! Then there’s the free monumental competition game-changing Spring bonus pts for report cards shown to mall info booth staff, awarding 1,000 pts for each A or 3 earned by your

FoodsCo stores Community Rewards program

With your Fuel Rewards loyalty card, create a profile to register online at www.foodsco.net & navigate to Community Rewards to designate Westlake Charter School to receive a 4% donation from FoodsCo stores for all eligible items that you purchase when you use your Fuel Rewards card or phone # at checkout. You can get a Fuel Rewards loyalty card at the store’s customer service counter if you don’t have one yet.

Clip & Save Box Tops for Education. Send BoxTops to school in a sandwich baggie or glued/taped on collection sheets. Each classroom has a collection box. You can also enter contests on the boxtops4education website’s Sweepstakes page (create a profile). Each Box Top is worth 10 cents that Box Tops pays to WCS.

Direct Donations

Check online with adoptaclassroom.org or donorschoose.org to see if a WCS teacher has a program proposal you’d like to donate to. Sometimes corporations or foundations match funds, so your donation could be worth double! And the school’s supply donations webpage is an option always available.

Shopping to Educate program runs August 1 through May 21

This is a points competition with area schools with an annual Grand Prize of $2,000 (& a midpoint first place prize of $250) run by the same marketing agency as School Cents. Receipts for purchases made at Loehmann’s Plaza and Lake Crest Village businesses are logged for points in the competition by inserting them in the envelopes & drop boxes at the Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt or Cookie Connection Loehmann’s locations — or in the Marshall’s courtyard at Lake Crest. Or drop off your receipts in the Shopping to Educate collection boxes in our school office where the WAVE Shopping to Educate volunteer will record your points/receipts. New this year: Easily upload receipts to earn points for WCS in the competition! And participate in Holiday Carolling at Loehmann’s and the October 28th Halloween carnival at Lake Crest Village to earn BIG POINTS for WCS!
