PTO Membership-PTO Membership~Thank you to all our awesome families who have already donated to our annual PTO Membership Drive. There is less than a week to join and receive the benefits of our great, new incen-tives. We also have grade level incentives still going on. Each grade level in elementary with 85% membersh ip wi l l ge t Pajama Day anda Popsicle Party. Each grade level in middle school with 75% membership will get Free Play in the gym. New Incentives for Middle

School: each grade level that reaches 90% membership will get the following: 6th Grade - free homework pass for core classes, 7th grade - free homework pass for core and foreign language classes 8th grade - free homework weekend

Sports Center~October 18thThe 7th grade volley-ball team took their first zone loss on Wednesday October 18th against Tanglewood. The 8th grade volleyball team also took their first zone loss to Tanglewood. Both 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams beat Long on Monday October 23. Only two games left in the season. Next week is an away game at Sharpstown on October 30th and then the last game will be a home game on November 6th against Sugar Grove. Come out and support your Lady Rams !!!

Does your child want to participate in our T. H. Rogers Elementary or Middle School Spelling Bees? They must first qualify by scoring well on the Preliminary Spelling Test on November 8th. Students must be signed up using our online forms by November 5th, in order to participate. T. H. Rogers Is Pleased To Announce~The return of

the Houston Real Men Read (HRMR) program! HRMR is

a mentoring program in which men from the Houston

community commit one hour a month to read to our

students in 1st and 2nd grade classes. T. H. Rogers is

calling all male community members who are interested

in serving in this great capacity. The program will official-

ly kick off in November and extend through May with one reading per month. Men who are

interested are encouraged to complete the application, which can be found on the school

website. The deadline to submit an application is Friday, October 27th. Questions or con-

cerns regarding HRMR may be directed to Ms. Winn at cwinn@houstonisd.org.

Membrecía de PTO- Gracias a todas nuestras familias maravillosas quienes ya han donado a nuestra Campania anual de Membrecía de PTO. Queda menos de una semana para unirse y recibir los beneficios de nuestros incentivos nuevos. También tenemos incentivos en cada nivel de grado. Cada grado de primaria con 85% de mem-brecía recibirá un Dia de Piyamas y una Fiesta de Paletas de Nieve. Cada grado de secundaria con 75% de membrecía recibirá

Tiempo de Juego Libre en el gimnasio. Nuevos incentivos para Secundaria: cada grado que alcance 90% de membrecía recibirá lo siguiente: 6º grado Pase libre de tarea, 7º grado pase libre de tarea, 8º grado un fin de semana libre de tarea. Centro Deportivo- 18 de Octubre el equipo de volibol del 7º grado se llevaron su primera derrota contra Tanglewood. El equipo de volibol del 8º grado también sufrió su primera derrota contra el equipo de Tanglewood. Ambos equipos del 7º y 8º grado derrotaron al equipo de Long el Lunes 23 de Octubre. Solamente nos quedan 2 juegos en la temporada. La próxima semana tenemos nuestro juego fuera de casa en Sharpstown el 30 de Octu-bre y el último juego se llevara a cabo en casa el 6 de Noviembre contra Sugar Grove. ¡Vengan y apoyen a nuestras Mujeres Rams!

your PTO has to offer this year. On our NEW site, you can see upcoming calendar events,

buy memberships and spirit wear (coming soon), sign up to volunteer and much, much more. Here's what

you need to do:

• Go to https://throgerspto.membershiptoolkit.com

• Click on the Log In button or the Registration

button.

• Select "Create Account" and fill in the name,

email, and password information.

• Click "verify my email" and then check your

email for a link to complete the process. The

link expires in 2 hours. If you do not receive

the email, check your spam or junk folders.

• Once you have verified your email

address, log back in and finish the

registration process.
