Our Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit is fully equipped to carry out the five stages in the transplantation process in both pediatric and adult cases; a physical examination of the patient’s body and general condition, harvesting the stem cells that will be used in the transplant, conditioning the patient’s body for the transplant, transplanting the stem cells, and the recovery period, during which the patient is closely monitored for any side effects and complications.
