A Sharing by a YJC student after the Universal
Studios Trip.Perfect ratings for the awesome experience!
It was a pity the rest of my family could not make it,
but I believe this trip has helped me and my father to
bond in a special way from the planning of the places to
visit, to the things that we were going to do together.
I had gone for an operation in March and again in June
and this had caused me to be less physically fit. Knowing
that I would feel tired, my father constantly reminded
me to inform him if I was feeling unwell or needed totake a rest. At times, he also volunteered to carry my
bag for me to relieve the stress on my back. This is defi-
nitely a side of him that I seldom experienced. Since
young he taught us independence and he would not help
us carry our bags in any circumstances. Today, he even
wanted to carry my kiddy bag: this surprised and
touched me. The Male Chauvinistic Pig that I had always
affectionately associated my father with, had trans-
formed . The once superior and authoritative figure
had become my friend, who constantly shared his
thoughts with me. I am very appreciative that he had
made time for me and to interact with me in a
fun and friendly way. He is really a loving and
caring dad, whom I will always hold dear.

FAMILY BONDING EVENT SHARING:
The family bonding event at Universal studios was awe-some. It had been such a long time since my whole familyhad gone out together. It was a great place for my fam-ily and I to take rides, and have a fun time. One happymoment that I will always remember is the 4D Shrek
ride which caused all of us to laugh hysterically. Themovie that was shown was interesting with shaking seatsand water splashing out suddenly ! The other one wasThe Mummy, a roller coaster ride that freaked me out!The super-fast speed caused us to scream throughoutthe ride! After all the fright, we went for the rideagain. The time we spent together on that day was enjoy-able and memorable for my family and me. Watching theinteresting movie and walking together in the rain andtaking the heart thumping rides were all awesome memo-
ries.. Thanks for organising this event for my family tobond.

3 Tips for work3 Tips for work3 Tips for work3 Tips for work----life balancelife balancelife balancelife balance
1. Figure out what really matters to you in life
Figure out what you want your priorities to be, not what you think they
should be.
Contemplate the following questions:
1. If I could focus on one thing and one thing only, what would that be?
2. If I could add a second thing, what would that be?3. A third?
4. A fourth?Drop unnecessary activities
By making a concrete list of what really matters to you, you may discover
you're devoting too much time to activities that aren't a priority, and
you can adjust your schedule accordingly.
2. Protect your private time
Carve out time for yourself. Guard this personal time fervently and
don't let work or other distractions intrude.Few people are so important that they need their phones on at all times.
Accept help to balance your life
Allow yourself to count on your partner, family members, or friends3. Plan to have fun and relaxation
Fun and relaxation are an essential part of living a well-balanced life.
Some suggestions include: music lessons, gym classes, dates with yourspouse , hanging out with friends.
Remember, you make time for what you want to make time for. Ifsomething is important to you, don't brush it aside with a dismissive,
"I don't have time for that." You are in charge of your own
schedule -- it's up to you to make time.
