Highlights from the July issue ofthe UOG Journal
The July issue of Ultrasound in Obstetrics &
Gynecology includes a Systematic Review on
the accuracy of saline contrast
sonohysterography in detecting endometrial
polyps in women with postmenopausal
bleeding, an Expert Consensus on methods and
considerations concerning cardiac output
measurement in pregnant women, a study on
echocardiography, clinical outcome and genetic
analysis in 53 cases of fetal cardiac tumor, and a
study on the application of artificial intelligence
to amniotic fluid metabolomics and proteomics in
the prediction of perinatal outcome in
asymptomatic pregnant women with short
cervical length.
Also new this month is a free access Virtual
Issue on Urogynecology, which you can read
online now.

system
This course will give delegates a comprehensive
overview of heart and central nervous system
anatomy as well as examination methods of
detecting fetal anomalies. View the

ISUOG Basic Training
At ISUOG2019, Basic Training will be hosting a
morning hubs series on Monday 14 Oct -
Wednesday 16 Oct, which will consist of
interactive training on fetal anatomy using live
scan demonstrations followed by simulator
practice. Additionally at the World Congress,
Basic Training will be hosting two simulation
workshops. The first session will be focused on
the Fetal Heart Scan and the second on the
Basic Anomaly Scan (20+2 approach). Register
to attend ISUOG 2019 to take part!
ISUOG is pleased to announce Basic Training in
Johannesburg, South Africa on the 24 Oct 2019!
This course will be delivered in conjunction with
SASUOG and delivered entirely in English. Join
us on-site or via-livestream!
