Supplies Needed:

1. 11 animals and buckets. You can modify and do more or less. If you don’t have different color buckets, you can use containers and tape the color to top of it or the bucket.

2. Big Open Space – Can be played inside or outside (Will be tough to use technology doing this outside unless you can run extension cord.

3. Technology – ClassDojo.com app and the random picker tool from the toolkit for projector. Classroom Roulette App which is part of idoceo.net suite of apps for TV. Ipad and Apple TV to get on the screen. If you go no Tech route, you can just put names in a hat or even just pick students and give them 5 seconds or time limit to select color.

4. Music – Used as your time and to make the game fun. I love music.

Age Group: Best for younger groups such as Kindergarten and 1st grade.

How To Play: Directions on the picture…

Basically kids select a bucket, and do the movement associated with the animal they choose. The music starts and students travel around the gym or space doing that animal movement. When the music stops, you select the next student. You can modify this game so please don’t let the supplies or lack of resources get in the way of doing this game. The kids will love it!
