The Yorkshire Museum is situated in York Museum Gardens in the heart of the city.

This beautiful Georgian building which houses collections that have been awarded National status is available for evening hire. There are interesting spaces for drinks receptions of up to 150 people and small intimate dinners for 30 people as well as an auditorium style lecture theatre for up to 295 people.

The postcode YO30 7BH will bring you onto Marygate from which there is an entrance into the Museum Gardens; this entrance is next to St Olaves Church. There is a public car park on Marygate by following the road round to the right. On-street parking on Marygate is limited. The Hospitium is then situated to the right as you enter the Museum Gardens.
