YORKSHIRE’SGOLD MEDALISTSYorkshire is taking on the world at this year’s London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. And to celebrate the achievements of our county’s golden girls and boys, Royal Mail is painting gold some of its Post Boxes in the home towns and cities of our champions in honour of their world-beating successes. Here in Yorkshire, we’re proud of all our athletes – so here’s a rundown of them all including our medal winners. Three national parks, seven cities, and seven gold medals (and counting). Welcome to Yorkshire.
