Round 1 | Submission & Requirement
1. Contestant should submit ONE hand-drawing sketch based on the given body shape template (Curvy).
2. The sketch must be shown in full colour on A4 size paper. 3. Inspiration of work (not more than 100 words) should be included in the
submission.4. Each contestant can submit not more than FIVE sketches.5. The artwork must be creative and innovative reflecting from the use of colours,
drawing skills, application of techniques and imaginative inspiring concept.6. The artwork must be original design from the entrant and fully interpret the
personal style of the entrant. 7. The artwork must speak the charisma and confidence of the iconic Barbie doll. 8. Please put your name, student ID and contact number at the back of your work.9. All submissions (hardcopy) should be sent to ITC General Office (Room QT715,
PolyU) on or before 5 Oct, 2018 at 5:30pm. Softcopy or late comer will not be entertained.
Round 1 | Selection Criteria
The panel of judges will be composed of professors from ITC and representatives from MOLESKINE and MATTEL

Round 2 | Submission
1. Each shortlisted contestant will receive a MOLESKINE notebook and a Barbie Fashionista Doll from ITC. A $100 deposit is required for the collection of notebook. Contestant will be fully refunded after the campaign.
2. Please put your name, student ID and contact number on the first page of the notebook.
3. Contestant should develop all their fashion drawings in the notebook based on the given body shape templates.
4. A fashion collection of at least SIX outfits should included. At least THREE outfits should be drawn on curvy body template.
5. Final presentation of collection should be in coloured hand-drawing in line-up format.
6. The style and design direction of the outfits need to be consistent, for example, both street casual and party cannot be put together in the collection.
7. The translation of creative inspirational ideas on paper has to be clearly demonstrated with sketches, silhouettes, colours, details, suggestion of fabrics as well as text description to support the design concept.
8. All submissions (hardcopy) should be sent to ITC General Office (Room QT715, PolyU) on or before 21 Nov, 2018 at 5:30pm. Late comer will not be entertained.
Round 2 | Requirement
1. The collection must be creative and innovative reflecting from the use of coloursand patterns, suggestion of fabrics, drawing skills, application of techniques and imaginative inspiring concept as well as aesthetics qualities.
2. The collection must be original design from the entrant and fully interpret the personal style and characteristics of the entrant which is differentiate from other brands.
3. The collection has to show a strong linkage to the campaign theme of “you can be anything”.
4. Each outfit in the entire collection coherent to each other to let Barbie to perform thoroughly her possibilities of being anything.
5. The collection has to project a positive, passionate and friendly image of Barbie doll
6. The collection must have distinctive highlights which are unique and recognizable to spice up the entire collection.
Round 2 | Selection Criteria
The panel of judges will be composed of representatives from MOLESKINE and MATTEL
Selection of finalists will be assessed base on following criteria:

Terms & Conditions1. Definition: the 1st round and 2nd round of the you can be anything creativity inspiring journey as well as the sharing session to be held in Moleskine LANDMARK
store will be defined as the Project or Competition. Students who participated in the Project is defined as Contestant. 2. By submitting application(s) enter into this competition, Contestant agrees that Contestant has read these terms and conditions and that Contestant accepts and
agrees to be bound by them.3. All Intellectual Property Rights in any drawings, designs, graphics, texts, and any other work of whatsoever nature created by Contestant for the purpose of or in
relations to this Project or competition, shall be and will remain the sole and exclusive property of Moleskine Asia Limited and Mattel East Asia Limited immediately upon creation.
4. All drawings, designs, graphics, texts, and any other works submitted must be original and created solely by Contestant and neither have been showcased or published, nor have been entered in any other design competitions.
5. All submissions will not be returned and will be disposed of by Moleskine Asia Limited and Mattel East Asia Limited after the competition.6. Contestant hereby agrees that Moleskine Asia Limited and Mattel East Asia Limited use the photographs and videos collected throughout the Project that contain
portraits of images of Contestant in a world-wide, royalty free, irrevocable, exclusive and permanent manner for the purposes of display, distribution, reproduction, publication, services, advertising by way of any channel or means without prior consent.
7. Contestant agrees that if he/she is chosen as the Finalists or Winners, he/she will attend the sharing session to be held in Moleskine LANDMARK store. The Contestant shall also cooperate fully with Moleskine Asia Limited and Mattel East Asia Limited.
8. Moleskine Asia Limited and Mattel East Asia Limited as well as media supporters reserve the absolute right to select among the finalists’/winners’ works for any form of media production for promotional or marketing purposes without the finalists’/winners’ approval.
9. Contestant warrants that the submitted design is not and would not infringe on any intellectual property rights or any other rights of any third party. If any drawings, designs, graphics, texts and any other work created by Contestant for the purpose of or in relation to this Project of Competition infringes or allegedly infringing any intellectual property rights or other rights of any third party.
10. Moleskine Asia Limited and Mattel East Asia Limited reserve the right to reject and disqualify any submitted design or to deprive any finalists/ winners if , the submitted design infringes on the intellectual property rights or any other rights of any party or communicate violence, pornography, criminal acts, gratuitous violence, threats, spam and hate speech.
11. Moleskine Asia Limited and Mattel East Asia Limited reserves the right to mend the details of the Project or Competition without prior notice, and to terminate or cancel the Project or Competition without any prior notice or explanation. Contestants understand that it is their sole responsibility to keep abreast of any change to the Project or Competition rules.
12. Contestant agrees that the prior written consent of Moleskine Asia Limited and Mattel East Asia Limited is required before the Contestant reproduces, distributes or uses his/her submitted design for any purpose.
13. Moleskine Asia Limited and Mattel East Asia Limited reserve the rights to edit, alter, modify, process, design, distribute, copy the submissions.14. Contestant should keep any business information, sales/financial data and any other confidential information provided by Moleskine Asia Limited and Mattel East
Asia Limited or obtained from Moleskine Asia Limited and Mattel East Asia Limited in strict confidence and shall not disclose such information or data to any third party.
15. Personal data1. Personal data provided by Contestant is for the purpose of the Project or Competition only.2. By submitting the entry(ies), Contestant agrees that the personal information provided will be kept by Moleskine Asia Limited, Mattel East Asia Limited
and ITC of the PolyU and will be used by Moleskine Asia Limited, Mattel East Asia Limited and ITC of the PolyU only in conjunction with the Project or Competition and its promotion/advertising.
3. Contestant has the right to request access to and all personal data stored by Moleskine Asia Limited, Mattel East Asia Limited and ITC of the PolyU. Any privacy related requests may be directed to ITC of PolyU.
16. In case of dispute over the terms and conditions of the Project or Competition, the decision of Moleskine Asia Limited and Mattel East Asia Limited shall be final. 17. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the People’s Republic for China and Contestant and
Moleskine Asia Limited and Mattel East Asia Limited agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
