TRANSCRIPT
Sooner or later each parent has a need to talk to their child about safe sexual behavior and reproductive
health. But many parents are trying to avoid this conversation, which can lead to unpleasant
consequences in their child’s life such as unintended pregnancy, HIV, STIs and etc.
This information is confirmed by some statistical facts:
– Young people from 15 to 29 years accounted for over half of all HIV cases in Belarus (2015);
– 1375 abortions took place among young females under 19 years in 2015.
So why does this conversation happen so rarely?
The main reason why parents don’t start this dialog is because they don’t know:
• What to say?
• When to speak about it?
• How to speak about it?
INTRODUCTION
Parents want to talk to their child
about safe sexual behavior and
reproductive health, but they need a
"dress rehearsal" of this conversation,
to be more prepared
CREATIVE INSIGHT
«Dress rehearsal» is a chatbot for Facebook Messenger which is going to help you practice
this serious conversation about safe sexual behavior and reproductive health like you are
speaking with your own child.
SOLUTIONS – Chatbot
With the help of natural language processing (NLP) technology and machine learning chatbot
sustains a conversation with a parent. If necessary, this chatbot also can give recommendations
about how to say certain things correctly to a child.
In partnership with Facebook and its targeting options we identify
parents of teenagers, who will get a message from our chatbot,
where it asks them to join a serious conversation about safe
sexual behavior of their children.
At the beginning of the conversation parent informs chatbot about
their child's gender and age, because for each age and gender
there are specific way to hold a conversation.

your own one.
After that chatbot defines parental behaviour
pattern with the help of natural language
processing (NLP) technology and then gives
recommendations according to it.
HOW IT WORKS?
The conversation is build on the basis of parents responses and includes variety of situations
and questions that child may ask.
