Our specialist engineers have significant experience and expertise in the inspections and maintenance of all brands and sizes of gymnastic trampolines to ensure their integrity and safety, whether used for play, physical fitness or at competition standard.Our servicing includes a full inspection, safety checks, lubrication of all moving parts, checking of fixings, tightening and adjusting as necessary and reporting. Timber Floor Refurbishment, Repair and ReliningWith many team and individual sports, the quality of the playing surface is all important. You can ensure that your sports floor is up to standard with our assistance.

We will sand down and re-seal your timber sports floors, ensuring the perfect surface for your users, before re-placing any markings (basketball, tennis, football, etc.). Then, after one more seal, your sports floor will look brand new.

Approved Granwood ContractorWe are an approved Granwood contractor and have years of experience refurbishing and maintaining Granwood timber floors, including repairs to blockwork where necessary.

Alternatively, we offer a deep cleaning service, ideal for sports floors without markings, such as dance studios.

Outdoor SurfacesCleaning & Maintenance

We will keep all your outdoor sports surfaces in top condition with our tailored maintenance packages, including line markings for every sport.For your artificial sand dressed surfaces, whether 3G or 4G pitch, our maintenance includes:

• Verti-Top Deep Clean – this collects the sand from the carpet and screens out all the foreign particles before depositing the clean sand evenly back onto the carpet.

• Verti-Clean – keeping the carpet clean of debris such as leaves and general rubbish reduces contamination.

• Vegetation Treatments – to include two herbicide treatments to control weeds around the perimeter of pitch to be done at time of maintenance visit.

We will deep clean your outdoor tennis, netball and volleyball courts using up to date pressure washing machines. If needed, we will re-bond your old surface using PVA glue. We can also colour coat and reline. Outdoor Sports

Due to the large number of options available, the selection and installation of outdoor sports equipment can often be a difficult task. By its very nature, athletics equipment is going to require regular attention. This can range from inspection and checking through to maintenance and repair. We are approved by UK Athletics to carry out inspections on athletics field and track equipment. All service inspections include an engineer’s report highlighting any defects. We will then send you a quotation for any repair recommendations, along with a Service Inspection Completion Certificate. For athletics tracks, during servicing we will review the track surface condition and track curbing, carry out Polymeric spot repairs and regular deep cleans.

Swimming Pool Hoists LOLER Inspections

Leisure centres are increasing seeking opportunities to extend the enjoyment of their facilities to less able customers, and swimming pool hoists are an excellent example, especially for centres without deck level pools.Sport & Play has extensive experience in supplying, installing and servicing all types of hoists for both swimming pools and changing rooms, including Arjo Otter and Oxford Dipper, slings and all other accessories. We will be pleased to provide advice on the most suitable equipment for your facilities.

In addition to ensuring your hoists are operating safely, our swimming pool service includes a complete safety and maintenance check on starting blocks and sockets, backstroke turn markers and sockets, lane ropes and lane rope rollers.

LOLEROur team of engineers is LOLER (Lift Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998) qualified not only to install but also to examine, service and certificate all types of hoist to ensure that your centre complies with the legal requirements of the LOLER standard.

Wet & Dry InflatablesPIPA Inspections & Servicing

Children can bounce, slide and play all day in Sport & Play’s dry inflatables; available to purchase or on loan. Our inflatables range includes large and small bouncy castles and slides suitable for dry use, indoors and outdoors. All dry inflatables are required to be tagged (if not done so at the time of manufacture) and are then required to be tested, serviced and inspected at a maximum of 14-month intervals. Wet inflatables should also be serviced annually but do not require tagging.

Outdoor Playgrounds RPII Inspections and Repairs

Our nationwide network of installers and inspectors are approved by RPII, the Register of Play Inspectors International. We will regularly inspect your outdoor play equipment and playground furniture to ensure it is robust and safe for children to use. If requested, we can also recommend any maintenance and repairs required, and carry out this work for you in a timely and cost effective manner.

Whether your requirement is for a small play area or a complete adventure centre, we can develop and provide a facility that will really excite yet be completely safe.Utilising our significant industry experience and expertise, we provide a personal service that will guide you through the complete process of selecting the venue or location, through to manufacture and installation of the equipment, plus comprehensive after-sales, maintenance and servicing support.

Design & InstallationInitial consultancy, including a site visit where appropriate, is available free of charge. In the first instance, we will discuss with you and consider your target audience: the age of the children you hope to attract; a theme or style that you have in mind; the elements that you would like to incorporate and the marketing angle or position you would like to take. We will then be pleased to provide on-going advice and assistance throughout the project, to and beyond your official opening, as required.

Cleaning & MaintenanceIf you are already operating an existing indoor adventure play area, our services cover inspection, maintenance and repair, including ball replenishment, net repairs and renewal of protective covers.

We also offer a range of dedicated cleaning services. These include both one-off cleans and annual contracts to keep your play frames and ball pools dirt and germ free. A certificate of cleanliness is provided for you to display, demonstrating you are committed to providing a hygienic and secure play environment.
