Belo Horizonte is the capital of Minas Gerais, the largest coffee producing state in Brazil. To accommodate domestic and foreign visitors, Belo Horizonte has a large international airport called Tancredo Neves International Airport with direct flights to North America, Central America and Europe. In addition, the city is an hour flight from Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo which is convenient for those visiting Belo Horizonte for sightseeing or business.
