Beyond Finance understands that life might throw you a financial curveball, and you may need to adjust your deposit schedule if the unexpected happens. That’s perfectly okay! We’ll gladly work with you to make any necessary adjustments. Be sure to contact our Client Success Team at least five business days before your scheduled deposit date so that we can pause any scheduled electronic withdrawals.Stay On Track By Making

Speed Up Your Journey!

Whenever possible, putting more money towards your monthly deposit through additional one-time deposits can accelerate your progress through the program.

For example, when tax season rolls around, some of our clients deposit their tax returns into their Dedicated Account on top of their regularly scheduled deposits. The faster your Dedicated Account balance grows, the earlier we can resolve your enrolled debts. This can also lead to you completing your program sooner than planned!

Program Deposits and Your Credit Score

Delaying your creditor payments gives us the leverage we need to resolve your debts, but it can also impact your FICO score. However, you are laying the groundwork for us to lock in new terms and agreements by redirecting your payments to your Dedicated Account. Ultimately, your creditors want to receive some money rather than no money at all; making them wait for payment encourages them to lock in new terms and agreements.

The most important thing to remember is that you are the one with the control — not your creditors. The quicker you get through the program, the quicker your overall creditworthiness can begin to improve. Additionally, many of our former clients have reported full credit score recovery and improvement after graduating from their debt resolution program.

Set Your Reminders:

Mark your calendar with the days your deposits are scheduled to hit your Dedicated Account.

Set a reminder a week before your scheduled deposit days to make sure you have the funds.

Alert us at least five business days ahead of time if you know you won’t be able to make a scheduled deposit.

The Resolution ProcessOnce you begin your program, our team gets to work! While results can vary, most of our clients receive their first resolution offer within the first four to six months of their program start date.

It’s important to remember that debt resolution isn’t a quick fix. Our team prioritizes your accounts and reaches out to each creditor in strategic intervals to maximize your total savings.

“... a creditor contacts me on the phone?”

While we encourage our clients to avoid answering calls from unknown numbers, we know that creditors and debt collectors can use tricky tactics to avoid contacting us and get you on the phone instead. If you do find yourself on the line with a creditor, keep the conversation short. We recommend this response:

“I’m experiencing a financial hardship. I intend to address the debt through debt settlement, but I cannot pay at this time.”

After you’ve finished your call, please reach out to our Client Success Team and let them know which creditor contacted you, when they called, what number they used and what they said. We’ll handle the rest!

We also recommend that you block the number that the creditor called from.

“... a creditor sends me an email or a letter?”

Sometimes creditors will send written communications to you directly in an attempt to avoid working with us.

If you receive a new statement, settlement offer or creditor correspondence, please send a copy to our Client Success Team.

“... a creditor brings up potential litigation?”

The Beyond Finance team has a long history of successfully resolving debt with hundreds of different creditors. However, there are some rare instances where creditors take a more aggressive approach. Let us know right away if a creditor threatens legal action on your debt.

Depending on where you live, you may have elected to join a legal assistance program at enrollment. If you have not yet elected to join, you may still be eligible - contact us at (800) 282-7186 for more details.

“... my debt is moved to a new creditor or a debt collector?”

Creditors sometimes sell debts to other creditors or collections agencies if they are unable to receive payment. If this happens, let our Client Success Team know as soon as possible. Please send a copy of any correspondence regarding the creditor change to us via email at [email protected] or via fax to (888) 495-4207. This lets our team know who they should now contact to work towards a debt resolution.

How To Block Numbers

Are you receiving persistent, disruptive calls from creditors? Follow these sim-ple steps to block callers on your mobile device.

iPhone• Open your Phone app• Tap the “Recents” tab at the bottom

of the screen• Select the “i” symbol next

to the unwanted number• Scroll down and tap

“Block this Caller”• Select “Block Contact”

Android• Open your Phone app• Select “more”• Select “Call history”• Tap the number that

you want to block• Select “Block/Report Spam”• Confirm that “Report Spam” is

checked, select “Block”

“... I need to adjust my deposit schedule?”

No matter the circumstance, our team is happy to work with you to adjust your deposit schedule. Please contact our Client Success Team at least five business days before your scheduled deposit date so that we can pause any scheduled electronic withdrawals.

Approving Your New AgreementsSigning off on your first debt resolution agreement is a cause for celebration and a sign of good things to come!

Approving New Terms - What Happens Next?

Funds from your Dedicated Account will be sent to your creditor according to the new agreement.

You’ll keep making your scheduled deposits into your Dedicated Account as we work on resolving the rest of your enrolled debts.

Once all of your resolved debts have been paid off, we will send you a certificate showing your total savings, which takes into account our program fee.

Once Your New Agreement is Fully Paid

After you’ve paid off the resolved debt amount to each creditor, they might tell credit reporting bureaus that your account is settled (or paid, paid by settlement, settled in full, or settled for less than the full amount). One less debt on your shoulders — nice work!

Program Fees

Beyond Finance‘s programs have no upfront fees, which means our team doesn’t make a penny unless we successfully lower your enrolled debt. Our fees are performance-based, incorporated into your program deposits, and contingent on our success with reaching more favorable terms and agreements with creditors on your behalf.

Paying Tax on Your Savings?

In general, forgiven debts can be taxable. When tax time rolls around, you may receive a Cancellation of Debt form (1099-C).

Talk to your tax advisor to learn more about your specific financial situation and the potential tax implications that may come with your resolved debts.

Stay on Top of Your Resolved Debts:

Settlement offers from creditors often come with an expiration date, and we can‘t move forward without your approval. If we reach out to you regarding new terms and agreements, please respond as soon as you can.

Check in with your tax advisor about any taxes you may owe on your forgiven debts.
