Just to remind you that the St. Columbkille Angel Tree gifts for the West Allegheny Food Pantry patron’s children are due in the St. Columbkille’s parish hall the weekend of November 30/December 1. Thank you for helping to put smiles on children’s faces on Christmas morning!~Community Outreach Ministry
In order to continue with the progress towards uniformity of the parishes in Grouping 329, beginning on November 24, there will be a slight change with the presentation of the gifts. The altar servers will escort down the main aisle those who present the gifts of bread and wine to the priest. Those who bring up the bread and wine are asked to wait for the altar servers before proceeding.
Give in thanksgiving. “The nuns left lasting impressions on me,” writes a donor. “ I shall always be grateful for my Catholic education.” Please join in thanking the thousands of senior Catholic sisters, brothers, and religious order priests who worked tirelessly to edu-
cate the young and serve those in need. Next week’s sec-ond collection is for the Retirement Fund for Reli-gious, which helps hundreds of religious communities care for aging members. Please give generously.
Bishop Canevin High School’s 18th Annual Holiday Craft Show takes place today, Sunday, November 17, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Location is 2700 Morange Rd, Pitts-burgh, PA. Come and browse from over 140 crafters. Lunch is available for purchase, as well as baked goods.
REMINDER: The next submission date for report-ing Parish Share is Monday, December 8, 2019. Thank you for your steward ship.
Please be aware that’ scammers are email-ing & texting parishioners, claiming to be their pastor & asking for gift cards. If you receive an email or text from one who claims to be your
priest, asking for gift cards or money: DO NOT RESPOND. Do not click on anything in the email. Call the parish office immedi-ately to report it. Anyone who has given money or gift cards in response to such a request should call the police. Your clergy will never make an urgent request for money or gift cards via email or text. If you wonder whether a parish request for giving is legitimate, call your parish office to ask.

We congratu-late them on this accomplishment and wish God’s best for them for many years to come.
