With a simple secure download, the Axess® Data Collection Agent is installed onto a

Windows 2003 or higher, server; or on a networked PC running Windows XP

This software application runs as a service in the background, collecting and transmitting real time data from your printing devices to the Axess® secure web server.

The collected data is encrypted into a proprietary file format and then transmitted to the Axess® secure web server using a TCP/IP communication over port 443 (HTTPS) though port 80 (HTTP) or port 21 (FTP) are also available.
