To Cancel A Tour: Tour tickets can be returned before the cancellation times indicated on the Tour Order Forms. Simply drop them in the 24 hour drop box with a “Please Cancel” notation on the ticket.

For an early start, consider using your breakfast card for in-room service. For a quick snack on sea days like today, look for our soft, fresh-baked cookies and ice-cold milk on deck. Later in the day, you can always recharge with Neapolitan-style pizza at our Pizzeria or burgers and fries at our Grill.

We’re fast approaching our first port of call, Auckland, located on the northeast side of New Zealand’s North Island. There you can brave the heights and enjoy panoramic views of the beautiful city from the Auckland Sky Tower. Or, head “under the sea” at Kelly Tarlton’s Underwater World and Antarctic Encounter, where you’ll meet some penguins during your visit. From Maori cultural performances to America’s Cup Sailing and wine tasting, everyone onboard can make an incredible memory in our upcoming port!

Meet Maitre d’Hotel Giuseppe Franchina

Giuseppe Franchina was born in San Marco d’Alunzio, a small village in Sicily. After graduating from hotel management school, he joined Princess Cruises as a Buffet Attendant.

In 1989, while serving on the former Royal Princess, he met his wife Janet. The two now live with their sons Stefano and Giancarlo in the Philippines, where Giuseppe enjoys collecting cookbooks and reading thrillers.

A highlight of Giuseppe’s career was serving the former Italian President Sandro Pertini a bologna sandwich during a sophisticated reception, at his request.
