manufacturing. Established in 1987 we have a long

history designing, engineering and manufacturing

cutting-edge components, equipment and

machinery. Serving the Forestry, Mining, Oil & Gas,

Agriculture, Industrial and OEM’s industries. Both

domestically and internationally.

Our facility offers a plug-and-play set up for all

manufacturing process steps from concept design

to final product.

Situated on 2.2 acres with a top class 33,400 square

foot facility with the latest in-house state-of-the-art

equipment and engineering technology.

Conveniently located less than an hour from the US-

Canadian border in the Okanagan Valley, British

Columbia. With our extensive design and

manufacturing capabilities Waycon is equipped to

CHIME TELECOPE

PROJECT

Scope

Waycon was involved with the structure design, fabrication

and erection of the first two CHIME telescopes that were built

on the rear acreage of the NRC’s Dominion Radio

Astrophysical Observatory.

Waycon worked in structure design with Nazli Azmikor at Fast

+ Epps Engineering along with Professor Mark Halpern at UBC

Physics Department.
