APRIL is FAMILY READING MONTH @ Royersford Free Public Library A branch of the Montgomery County-Norristown Public Library Serving the communities of Royersford, Limerick, and Upper Providence Families set a goal of reading together for 20 minutes each day. Every day your family makes goal, mark it on this calendar. Every 5 marks earns your family a chance in the weekly prize drawing. Any literary activity counts. Reading together or alone, aloud or silently, listening to audio books, magazines, poems, writing stories, etc. Family Prize Drawings on April 10, 17, 24, & May 1. Winners will be called, and need not be present. Prizes valued at $25 each. Early literacy begins at home because parents are children’s first teachers. To highlight early literacy skills for preschoolers, Pennsylvania kicks-off the One Book Every Young Child Reads campaign each spring, and Royersford Free Public Library is celebrating all April-long! This year’s featured book is Number One Sam, by Greg Pizzoli. Listen to the book at story time. Enjoy related activities, story- stretchers, crafts, puppets, and games.
