WHAT BENEFITS WILL I RECEIVE WHEN I BECOME A FRANCHISEE? The benefits are numerous. You will have the right to use our registered mark Assist2Sell as well as our proven marketing programs which are very effective in attracting home sellers and buyers. You will be educated in our training classes where you will learn how to set up, organize and maintain a high volume office as well as how to implement our marketing strategies. We will also assist you in setting your fees for your specific area based on current market conditions as well as train you how to recruit and compensate agents. Our support system is unparalleled and we are always just a phone call away as well as a direct connection through our online franchisee-only resource center.

HOW MUCH IS THE INITIAL FRANCHISE FEE? $14,500

WHEN DO WE PAY THE INITIAL FRANCHISE FEE? After we have approved your application, we will prepare a franchise agreement. The fee is due upon signing the agreement.

DO YOU OFFER A PAYMENT PLAN FOR THE INITIAL FRANCHISE FEE? Sorry, no financing is available. It is imperative that all franchise owners

have adequate capital to purchase, operate and maintain the franchise.

HOW MUCH IS THE ON-GOING ROYALTY FEE? 5% of the gross income of the office. Ex: You earn a $3000 commission on a sold home, the royalty fee would be roughly $150 and an additional 1% is also collected for our marketing development fund.

HOW DIFFICULT IS IT TO GET APPROVED TO BUY A FRANCHISE? Not difficult. You need to be financially stable in order to purchase the franchise, equip an office, invest in start-up advertising, cover operating costs and your personal expenses for the first few months. You will also need minimum 3 years residential real estate experience, a broker’s license or someone working with you who has a broker’s license.

CAN WE OPERATE OUT OF OUR HOME OFFICE? No. We require that you have a professional office location however, a minimal executive suite is suitable. We will help you determine the best plan based on your projected growth rate.

DO I HAVE TO WORK IN THE BUSINESS MYSELF? We do prefer owners to work in establishing their business in the first few years.

HOW MUCH MONEY CAN I EXPECT TO MAKE OWNING MY OWN FRANCHISE? We do not make representations on how much you will make, there

are too many factors from market to market.

HOW MUCH DOES ASSIST2SELL CHARGE SELLERS TO SELL THEIR HOME? As every market is unique, we work with franchisees to determine the most appropriate fee structure for your local area.

WILL OTHER AGENTS SHOW ASSIST2SELL LISTINGS? Yes. Many of our listings are MLS listings and the discounted commission is on the listing side not the outside agent’s. On non-MLS listings we will train you how to work with other agents.

WHY SHOULDN’T I JUST OPEN MY OWN DISCOUNT REAL ESTATE COMPANY? As an Assist2Sell franchisee you enter your local market with an established brand and a name that makes the phone ring. You also benefit from being part of a network of hundreds of like-minded franchise owners throughout North America. Someone is going to open an Assist2Sell in your area, shouldn’t it be you?

HOW DO YOU PAY YOUR AGENTS? We have found that traditional formulas don’t work. We spent years overpaying and testing before we came up with our current compensation program. This information is shared during your training classes.

HOW DOES ASSIST2SELL COMPARE TO OTHER FRANCHISES? With other franchises the consumer experiences the same old traditional concepts just with different names. The Assist2Sell concept offers something different therefore appealing to consumers.

DO WE BUY SIGNS AND SUPPORTING MATERIALS FROM YOU? No. We provide you with our suppliers’ information and are set up with all major vendors who typically offer very competitive pricing. You can also use your own vendors if you choose.

ARE YOU LOOKING FOR SMALL OR LARGE OFFICES?

Both. While most of our offices consist of 5-10 people including support staff, that doesn’t mean

that a large office couldn’t convert to an Assist2Sell office. Some of our larger offices have 15-25 people.

I’M CONCERNED SOMEONE WILL OPEN AN OFFICE AT MY DESIRED LOCATION BEFORE I DO. WHAT CAN I DO? While there are many great areas still available they are going quickly. Once your application is approved we will prepare the franchise agreement for you. Once you sign the agreement and pay you will have 6 months to attend training and open your business.
