fromthesaleofalcoholicbeveragesarerequiredtoclose.Thesebusinessesmayremainopenfordeliveryandtake-out,includingforalcoholicbeverages,asauthorizedbytheTexasAlcoholicBeverageCommission.
• Restaurantsmayremainopenfordine-inservice,butatacapacitynottoexceed50%oftotallistedindooroccupancy.

We urge everyone to follow the recommended guidelines published by the Centers for Disease Control:

• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
• Cover coughs and sneezes. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, or use the inside of your elbow.
• Throw used tissues in the trash. Immediately wash your hands.
• Avoid crowds.• Stay home if you’re sick.

in East Texas to Those Who Have Not Self-Responded
TheU.S.CensusBureau,incoordinationwithfederal,state,andlocalhealthofficials,hasbegundroppingoff2020 Census questionnaire packets at front doors ofhouseholds inEastTexaswhohavenot already self-respondedforthecensus.Thisisdoneinareaswherethemajorityofhouseholdsdonotreceivemailattheir
physicaladdress.
Temporaryfieldstaffhavebeentrainedtoobserveallsocialdistancingprotocolsandwillwearofficialgovernment-providedpersonalprotectiveequipment for their safetyand the safetyof thepublic.Thisoperationiscontactlessandfollowsthemostcurrentfederalhealthandsafetyguidelines.

If someone visits your home to collect information for the 2020 Census, check to make sure they have a valid ID badge with photograph, a U.S. Department of Commerce watermark, and an expiration date. Census workers may also carry Census Bureau
