Please find in this letter the publicity and some important information for Soul Mates

Weekend 2020. If you are not the most appropriate person for this information,

please pass it on to such a person. Every year Soul Mates Weekend proves to be a

spiritual and social highlight of the year for many people, both children and leaders

alike, so please consider sending a group this year.

We have a few important points that we’d like to raise at this stage. This year, we are

going to be looking at Mission, and as part of that, we have a range of speakers over the

four main worship sessions at Soul Mates Weekend: Bethany; Paula; Emma & Heather.

Once again at Soul Mates Weekend this year, we will be supporting the JMA project

this year as part of the weekend, so please remember to ask plenty of questions about

it. Finally, if you have any young people who are 17+ who you think would benefit from

stewarding at the weekend, please send them our way. Please also note that all

leaders must have a valid AccessNI in place (processed by IMYC, within the past 5

years) and have attended Safeguarding Training provided by the Methodist Church in

Ireland within the last three years.

SEMINARS & WORKSHOPS BOOKING OPENS: 13th January 2020

SEMINARS & WORKSHOPS BOOKING CLOSES: 14th February 2020

SEMINARS & WORKSHOPS INFORMATION: We split our seminars into

two slots: sessions 1 & 2. No booking is required for seminars this year

as they will be managed by IMYC at time of booking. All of your

group will be together. Groups can book into workshops once

booking has been confirmed by IMYC. Spaces are limited, and will be

allocated on a strictly first-come first-served basis.
