DRIP EDGE FLASHING
Metal sheets, usually shaped like an “L,” installed at the edge of the roof that serve a vital function by directing water away from the fascia and into the gutter.

ICE AND WATER SHIELD A waterproof barrier used in colder climates installed at eaves edge where ice dams are most likely to form. It is also installed in valleys for extra protection where a large amount of water flows.
STARTER SHINGLES These are flat shingles are installed along the eaves to add a layer of protection against wind driven rain and ice.
UNDERLAYMENT A synthetic water resistant barrier installed in combination with ice and water shields.
SHINGLES The next layer is comprised of your choice of Certainteed shingles.
RIDGE AND HIP SHINGLES These are specialty shingles that are used to cover ridge vents and non-vented roof ridges and hips. These shingles will match the roof shingles.
RIDGE VENT A ridge vent is a type of vent installed at the peak of a sloped roof on some homes which allows warm, humid air to escape a home /building’s attic.
