ArtThe Rijksmuseum

The first airport in the world to have a museum,

Schiphol offers a permanent exhibition of works of

art at the annexe of the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam.

The collection includes art from the Dutch Golden

Age, including paintings by some of the most famous

Dutch masters.

This wellness centre offers a range of full beauty

Location: in Lounge 2 on the 1st floor next to the

Network Bar at Pier D and on the 1st floor of Lounge 3.

Experience

Airport Park

Passengers can also spend their waiting time in the

relaxing green environment of the Airport Park.

Just like in any other city park, you can step outside

to enjoy the sunshine on the terrace.

The feeling of being in a park is achieved through

mixed reality: projections of butterflies, animal sounds

and cyclists all convey the sensation of being in a lively

city park. Airport Park is a total park experience,

unique in its kind.

Location: in Lounge 1, walk in the direction of Pier D

and you will find Airport Park on the 2nd floor.

House of Tulips

The unique design of House of Tulips combines

Amsterdam town house style architecture with that

of a greenhouse. Every morning, when the shop

opens its doors, a hydraulic system lifts up the house,

creating the sunny atmosphere of a flower market

underneath. This eye catcher can be found at thecentral square of Lounge 3.

Holland Boulevard

Enjoy the best the Netherlands has to offer on Holland

Boulevard. Relax in one of the Dutch living rooms:

take a seat on one of the sofas to watch TV, entertain

your fellow travellers with a lively tune on the piano

or visit the first Airport Library in the world for a taste

of Dutch culture and literature. In the library you will

find books in 29 languages to download or read right

there, nestled in a cosy armchair.

Location: between Lounges 2 and 3 on Piers E and F.

Entrance is free of charge.

Fokker 100 Panorama Terrace

Experience the history of aviation in the Fokker 100.

Have a look inside the cockpit, take a seat in one of

the original Fokker seats or dive into the history of

Fokker and aviation. You will find the Fokker 100 on

the Schiphol panorama terrace before passport

control. The aircraft has been converted into an

aviation experience. Little pilots will be challenged to

learn interesting facts and solve riddles about aviation.

Floating Dutchman

Transfer passengers with more than three hours in

between flights can experience Amsterdam during

a unique and stress-free excursion.

The Floating Dutchman leaves the airport as a bus to

travel in the direction of the Amsterdam city centre,

where it will continue as a boat: a spectacular way to

enjoy the highlights of the Dutch capital while drifting

through its myriad of canals.

Location: the Floating Dutchman leaves from the bus

lane in front of Schiphol Plaza.

Schiphol Babycare Lounge & Kids Forest

The Schiphol Babycare Lounge is a pleasant area with

cots for babies, where babies and parents can relax in

peace and quiet until their flight departs. This lounge

was co-sponsored by Nutricia. Bigger children will

love Kids Forest, an indoor playground with plenty

of climbing equipment and slides, right next to the

Babycare Lounge.Location: on Holland Boulevard between Piers E and F.

Open daily from 06:00 until 22:00. Free admission.

Internet: KPN Internet Centre and free WiFi

WiFi access is free of charge on your own device

throughout the airport for a total of one hour (SSID:

KPN). You will also find two KPN Internet Centres in

Lounges 1 and 2 and various KPN Internet Zones on

the piers. There are also numerous KPN Internet Points

(in the telephone clusters) dispersed throughout

the terminal.

Amsterdam Airport Schiphol counts numerous shops

featuring a special and extensive range of products,

both before passport control at Schiphol Plaza and

beyond passport control in the various Lounges.

Beyond passport control

International world-class brands such as Burberry,

Apple, Swatch, Herms, Swarovski, MontBlanc and

the very first Victorias Secret outlet in all of Europe,

as well as typically Dutch products such as Gouda

cheese, herring, treacle waffles and genuine airport

classics such as perfumes, liquor, electronics and

jewellery.

including over 30 different fashion labels.

All products sold under the See Buy Fly label are

up to 35% cheaper than in local outlets. All products

at See Buy Fly, with the exception of alcohol and

tobacco, are also available at reduced prices for

passengers travelling to destinations within the

European Union.

Worldwide two-year guarantee. Free pick up on return service: Travellers who fly to

a destination within the European Union can use the

Pick-up-on-Return service for purchases of minimally

EUR 20. Your purchases will remain at the shop and

can be picked up when you return.

Schiphol Plaza: Enjoy it! Now is the time

Schiphol Plaza is open to the general public.

Open 365 days a year from 07:00 until 22.00.

Some catering establishments are even open
