Your Library is Stuffed With Thanksgiving Ideas The Holidays are fast approaching. There is

so much to do, so much running around. Let

the library ease some of that stress for you.

We have a number of books to help you

plan an enjoyable Thanksgiving Holiday.

Is this you first time cooking

Thanksgiving dinner? Check out “How To

Cook A Turkey Dinner and all the Other

Trimmings” from the editors and

contributors of Fine Cooking or

“Thanksgiving 101” by Rick Rodgers.

Do you want a traditional Thanksgiving dinner but don’t know where to

start? “Pleasures of Colonial Cooking” or “Thanksgiving Dinner” might be

the right books for you.

Struggling to figure out the right vegetarian meal for the holiday?

“Vegetarian Times Complete Thanksgiving Cookbook” has it covered with

several recipes for everything from appetizers to desserts.

Do you want to be able to relax with your guests? “Happy Holidays from

the Diva of Do-Ahead” will show you how to do just that.

Kids can get involved and have fun too. Find inspiration in “Holiday Food

Fun” with recipes like “Tuxedo Turkey” and “Indian Caramel Corn.”

Beyond cookbooks we have several books on entertaining, table settings,

and even napkin folding.

Not cooking this year? Brush up on your history with “Mayflower” by

Nathaniel Philbrick. Or escape into a story like “Thanksgiving” by Janet

Evanovich.

No one wants to cook? Peter’s Diner, Geets Diner, Taylor’s, Adelphia

Restaurant, Villari’s Lakeside and Highlander Pub & Grill at Scotland Run

Golf Club are all open on Thanksgiving.

Remember to express your gratitude by sharing

with those less fortunate. Next time you come into

the Library to use a computer, borrow a book, or

attend an event bring a non-perishable food item.

We will bring all donated items to the Monroe

Township Food Pantry to be distributed to those in
