Fiercely Independent brewery. At the heart of the Bristol Beer scene since pioneering it in 2004.

Brewing innovative, fresh, consistently awesome beers. We seek to brew beers that are industry-leading examples of their style, building on the

legacy of Milk Stout, Southville Hop and Independence.

Mission Bay

This is a big punchy hop heavyweight pint. Combining 3 US

and 3 Aussie hops, set sail on this hoppy IPA dreamboat.

Amarillo, Citra, Simcoe from the States, Ella, Enigma and

Galaxy from Oz collide to give you the best floral, citrus,

tropical, passion fruit, peach and white grape flavours.

Milk Stout

The iconic BBf Milk Stout. Back in 2006 we took a 150-year

old Bristol concept of a Milk Stout and put a BBF twist on it

to create the original craft Milk Stout. We brew year-round

on cask, keg and in bottle.

Above Water

For a deep red malt bill, we’ve used supreme Belgian malt,

Chateau Arome, German malt, Weyerman CaraRed along-

side Vienna, Crystal and classic, British Maris Otter.

Independence US Style pale ale. Very distinctive pale ale that we have

hopped continuously throughout the boil 4.6%

White Desert

This is the palest beer we’ve ever brewed. Combining a

winning hop combination with Super Pale malt we bring

you White Desert. Generously hopped with Simcoe and

Chinook this paler than pale ale will be pleasantly fruity,

piney and a hint of spice with distinct aromas of grape-

Infinity

A big hop for a small beer. This is our 3.5% session sin-

gle hopped Galaxy pale. Galaxy is a sought-after Aussie

hop with great character. Amazing citrus, peach and

passionfruit aroma, added late to the boil to emphasise

the distinct tropical flavour.

Haliphron Seven Hop Pale. Fresh and clean with a moderate bitter-

Demeter

IPA brewed with spelt, wheat and oats in the grist bill and

hopped with Citra, Styrian Wolf and Simcoe. A full and satis-

fying ,mouthfeel with a touch of sweetness from the com-

plex blend of grains with a big hop hit of mango, pine and

tropical and citrus fruits. Unfined & vegan HAZY

A Golden Ale Brewed with pale and lightly toasted malts

Forged from the finest Maris Otter malt and a special

blend of American hops. The nose is of fresh citrus and

berry fruits with a smooth juicy malt character and de-

Hopfest (literally a festival of hops) is a new world pale ale

with purpose. Dedicated to bringing you the very freshest,

fruitiest hop vibes. Headlined by Citra, with Centennial and

Chinook supporting, Hopfest is a pure rave of citrus refresh-

Dark as a moonless night and smoother than Morgan Free-

man in a velvet suit, De La Crème uses added lactose sugar

to bring sweet chocolate, caramel and cream flavours to

your attention. More than just another milk stout, De La

Crème is really the crème de la crème

Big Sea

From across the ocean comes the resurgent west coast IPA

Style. Big citrus, big pine and big bitterness come in waves

throughout this brew, courtesy of some BIG ‘C’ Hops. Get

ready because the tide is changing and big sea is coming!

Mad Hatter A great session beer, brewed with Amarillo hops from the

Eastgate

First brewed in 1997 for the centenary of Chester’s famous

Eastgate clock. A Champion Beer of Cheshire, brewed exclu-

sively with whole leaf Cascade hops for a fruity foretaste

and distinctly hoppy flavour. Has a long sweet finish and a

very large fan base.

Pale

A new recipe. Pale golden session ale with lemony hop to

the fore. Brewed with two New Zealand hop varieties,

Pacific Jade and Motueka. Thirst-quenchingly good!

John Gilbert was a pioneer of the new wave of microbrewers that appeared in the early

1980s, running the Battersea and Brixton Brewing Companies. 2017 was the 30th Anniver-

sary of the first brew by John Gilbert at the Wyndham Arms and the early beginnings of The

Hop Back Brewery. 2019 is the 31st birthday of Summer Lightning, our flagship and most

awarded beer

Snowdonia

This fine golden ale is carefully crafted using pale and crystal malts and a blend of aromatic hops to produce a refreshing and full flavour. The perfect thirst-quencher after a hard day's walking in the glorious mountains of Snowdonia.

Calon Lan

Calon Lân is our special brew for the Six Nations rugby

tournament. At 4.0% abv it is an amber coloured best

bitter with a pleasant fruity hop finish.

Elderflower Elderflower Ale is a refreshing pale ale brewed from

welsh mountain water and natural ingredients 4.0%

Darkside

A delicious dark ale brewed from Welsh mountain wa-

ter and natural ingredients. Using a delicate blend of

dark crystal malt, roasted barley and Bramling Cross

hops the 'Dark Side' exhibits a rich malty flavour bal-

anced with fruity bitterness.

Madog

The beer takes its name from William Alexander Ma-

docks, who is noted for building the 'Cob' and

Porthmadog Harbour in the 19th century. The town

which grew up around the harbour, originally Port Ma-

doc, took its name from Madocks

American Pal Ale - A refreshing zesty session APA with

citrusy hop flavours. The golden core ale is loaded with

juicy citrus and passion fruit hop aroma, yet balanced with

malt and hop character.

Boscobel

Bitter

Boscobel Bitter - Amber Bitter with hints of chocolate,

coffee and caramel flavours. Hops are muted, and allow a

cask-style yeast to create a malty, full-body ale.

Arbor is a family owned and run microbrewery. We started in 2007 on a 2.5 barrel kit in the

back of a pub and are now based on Easton Road in Bristol

St Austell Brewery have been brewing beer and real ale in Cornwall since 1851, they have

This pale ale is packed full of five different New World

hops giving a complex mouth-feel and intense fruity

flavours of oranges, peaches and blackcurrants with a

rine and sherbet,a biscuity malt characteristic and a dry

We’ve been brewing great beer in Derby since 2010, the team are all passionate about ale

and work their socks off to make sure that every pint we make is consistent and delicious.

OOMPAH!

Another wonderful ale created by our brewer Nick un-

der his own brand called "Briggs Signature Ales". This is

BSA's Hefeweizen Oompah. Made from all German

ingredients, it is naturally cloudy from a large propor-

tion of wheat malt. It has more-ish aromas of orange

and clove, quaffable flavours of smooth rich orange,

with a subtle bitterness from Mandarina Bavaria hops.

One our single hopped range of, using Amarillo hops

from the USA. This lovely ale is very pale gold with a

light orange citrus nose, bitter orange hop taste and

long bitter, dry-ish finish.

You can find Enville Brewery nestled amongst the beautiful rolling hills and valleys of

the South Staffordshire countryside. Whilst stables may not be the obvious choice for

most emerging breweries, Enville’s founder could see that these unused farm build-

ings would be the perfect, if somewhat unlikely, home for a brewery. We have have

been brewing award-winning ales here in the village of Enville since 1993.

Ale Based on a 19th century recipe, this traditional beekeepers ale is light in colour with fruity notes and a hint of sweetness to compliment the dry hoppy taste.

Ginger Produced using root extract ginger this ingeniously created ginger beer has a flavour which is not overpowering and is very refreshing.

Located in a specially converted railway shed, just over 50 metres north of Ludlow

railway station. The building has been fully refurbished to latest building standards

and houses a 20 barrel brewing system. Ludlow Brewery produces award winning high

quality ales right in the heart of the beautiful town of Ludlow.

A most traditional brown ale. All English hop varieties,

Marris otter malts. Rich and smooth throughout with a

pleasing long bitter-sweet finish.

Elsie Mo

Elsie Mo’s name is derived from the Low Colour Maris

Otter malt from which she’s exclusively brewed, and

which gives her that tantalising golden hue. A blend of

hops – Challenger predominating – tempts you with its

aroma and leaves a pleasantly crisp aftertaste.
