The FreeStyle portable oxygen concentrator (POC) makes its own oxygen in a compact package up to a 3-setting. Capable of producing up to 1,000 mL/min, the FreeStyle 5 has the highest oxygen output of any wearable POC on the market and offers 5 pulse setting options. Both POCs utilize a uniquely efficient flexible pulse-flow delivery system which enables patients to be as active as possible.

New carrying bags for FreeStyle POCs are now available! They are more durable due to their robust design. A side pocket was added to hold the External Power Cartridge and back pocket for additional items. The option of a carrying handle, shoulder strap, or backpack harness gives patients multiple mobility options for portability.

FreeStyle & FreeStyle 5 are equipped with UltraSense™ technology, which provides a more sensitive pulse dose delivery than competitor devices, even those that include a “sleep mode” setting. The advanced intelligence built into the microprocessor of the FreeStyle family ensures fast, reliable pulse dose delivery in the first phase of inhalation, when the highest levels of gas exchange are occurring in the lungs. This gives providers and patients alike the peace-of-mind that with UltraSense, patients are reliably receiving the oxygen they need, when they need it most. Also, unlike any other POC on the market, UltraSense technology delivers a reliable pulse dose even when operated with up to 25 ft (7.62 m) of tubing, allowing patients to go the distance with FreeStyle.

The internal battery enables up to 3 or 3½ hours of use between recharges. When more time is needed away from an available power source for extended activity, the optional External Battery Cartridge or AirBelt™ are there to provide hours of extended battery duration. The Focus unit’s micro-batteries provide advanced duration times in a very small package that easily attaches at one’s hip, on a belt, or even to the unit’s shoulder strap. Each battery features an LED keypad display in 25 percent increments, which enables patients to have a visual indicator of the state of battery charge. VisionAire 2 supports pediatric care with two types of precision flowmeters. The standard flowmeter has 1/8 LPM increments ranging from 1/8 LPM up to 2 LPM with CCM markings for easy conversion, and is suitable for adult use where lower power consumption and cooler operating temperatures are valued. The alternative flowmeter has 1/10 increments ranging from .10 LPM up to 1.0 LPM.

ultraSILENT™ TechnologyThe Companion 5 is perfect for the noise-sensitive patients. A patent-pending intake filter is combined with a 2-chamber muffler to reduce the intake sound. A purge muffler quiets the exhaust gas, giving the Companion 5 an industry-leading quietest purge cycle that virtually eliminates the exhaust noise event. By minimizing the intake and exhaust sounds, the low and consistent sound of the Companion 5 quickly becomes unnoticeable to patients.

autoFLOW™ TechnologyThe Companion 5 features a patent-pending system that adjusts the valve cycle timing based on flow rates. Lower flow rates will produce a shorter valve cycle. This leads to reduced power consumption, higher oxygen purity, lower operating temperatures, quieter operation, and reduced pressure at lower flow rates. These benefits not only improve performance and durability, but also maximize the efficiency of the major components.

The Perfect Fit for Patients A uncomplicated patient interface features a toggle on/off switch, easy-to-read LED lights, audible alarms, and a simple rotating flow control knob. The robust metal cannula barb provides a secure connection and the humidifier bottle stand is integrated into the front panel for easy access, attachment and durability.

NewLife® Elite – Economical Stationary Oxygen Concentrator

The NewLife® Elite low power consumption concentrator delivers up to 5 LPM of therapeutic oxygen in home, hospital, and clinical settings. Flow lockdown and other unique features make this easy to maintain, durable concentrator of choice among today’s patients and equipment providers.

Units are available with an optional O2 monitor and an exclusive economy mode (only available with this option) to provide the efficiency of a 3 LPM unit. Units can also be equipped with a pediatric flowmeter for use with infants and other patients prescribed for low liter flow (0.125–2 LPM). The Air Outlet option enables the unit to deliver medicated nebulizer treatments while simultaneously providing supplemental oxygen.

NewLife® Intensity Series – Power-Efficient Oxygen Concentrators up to 10 LPM The NewLife® Intensity series combines high pressure with high flow to create up to 10 LPM, operating up to 590 watts for reduced power consumption. With an outlet pressure approximately three times higher than most other concentrators, these units are designed to serve special applications, such as with the use of large volume jet nebulizers, venti-masks, medication nebulizers, and long oxygen tubing runs.

NewLife Intensity concentrators simplify a tracheostomy set-up by eliminating the need for a separate external compressor. Administer humidified oxygen to a trach patient by connecting a jet neb bottle to Intensity’s O2 outlet. NewLife Intensity dual flow units can provide additional power savings by delivering oxygen to two patients simultaneously up to a combined total flow of 8 or 10 LPM with one unit.

These easy to maintain concentrators offer an outlet pressure of 20 psig (138 kPa) and a flow capacity of up to 8 or 10 LPM in a single or dual flow configuration. NewLife Intensity’s are the most highly rated units for use in developing countries and tropical climates. NewLife Intensity when combined with the SureFlow™
