Annagail Lynes (AL) - There are several types of passion.Annagail Lynes (AL) - Passions, such as Judah when he went into Tamar or David when he slept with Bathsheba, are passions stirred up by lust.Annagail Lynes (AL) - Passion, such as when Jesus went to the Cross or turned over the tables in the temple, is a passion to make things right, to undo an injustice.Annagail Lynes (AL) - We must choose to give into our worldly passions or give into our passion to make the world a better place.Annagail Lynes (AL) - Every thing with God and in life comes down to choices.Annagail Lynes (AL) - Love. Annagail Lynes (AL) - I have several passions. I can't stand for children to be in abusive homes, to go up in orphanages. If I could I would adopt ever child in the foster care system.Annagail Lynes (AL) - I also have a passion to teach people the Truth. I have a hard time reading news stories and articles about people who twist the Bible for their gain.Annagail Lynes (AL) - I also have a passion for the hurting, those who are stuck, and don't know how to move into the great plan God has for their lives.Annagail Lynes (AL) - For you, it could be animal rights. Annagail Lynes (AL) - Peace. What is peace? Peace is not the absence of trouble. It is being calm in the midst of trouble. Only God can give us the peace that is calm in the worse of circumstances.Annagail Lynes (AL) - Not being anxious is not as easy as it seems. At least not for people like me. There is always that tendancy to worry about everything.Annagail Lynes (AL) - Many times we are taking on the world's problems, other people's problems and making them our own.Annagail Lynes (AL) - Take everything to God. Have a little talk with Jesus. Tell Him all about your problems.Annagail Lynes (AL) - Most people get stuck on the complaining part and never move to the thanksgiving portion.Annagail Lynes (AL) - The real power is in the thanksgiving. When we thank God before we see anything, we are putting our faith on the line, we are signaling that we indeed trust Hm to come through for us.Annagail Lynes (AL) - Then He will guard our hearts and minds.Do you Have peace?And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christs] one body you were also called [to live]. He would envision the streaked, speckled and spotted flocks. I believe, by the time, the flocks gave birth, Jacob had a clear vision of what he wanted.Annagail Lynes (AL) - We have to do this as well.
