In SAP®, the inventory is performed via paper lists and stationary terminals. With the MOBILFLEX.NET© inventory, you will be able to conduct your inventory mobile via bar code logging. Incorrect listings in paper lists, typing errors or transmission errors will be avoided. Preparation, performance and supervision of the inventory are much more efficient. MOBILFLEX.NET© inventory supports your company on an

inventory management level (SAP® ERP Inventory Management MM-IM) as well as on a warehouse management level (SAP® ERP Warehouse Management LE-WM). You have several alternatives of how to combine the different inventory stages, consisting of inventory preparation, inventory count and count of differences in the inventory, into one stage. Inventory documents are generated paperless and managed and assigned per Flexus Inventory Cockpit. The counting results can be printed out for record keeping. As a standard, MOBILFLEX.NET© inventory works online through WLAN or GPRS/UMTS. The offline feature (Batch) can be activated if needed.

During the non-guided inventory, the employees can select and scan materials to be counted on site. During the guided inventory, the employee receives a worklist of materials that are to be counted (MM) on his mobile terminal in a specified order. The data can be entered per bar code or keyboard entry. Field checks through the SAP® standard are activated and shown on the mobile terminal. Consequently, errors can be rectified promptly. Only one inventory item is assigned to each material and storage bin in the MM of the SAP® standard. In SAP® standard, material that is stored in several locations in one storage bin cannot be added during entry.

MOBILFLEX.NET© inventory, on the other hand, records entries in a chart, accumulates the different values and processes the results in SAP® standard.

Benefits of the mobile SAP® standard features: Simplified zero count control – the location

is scanned and the zero count is conducted per confirmation. Inventory receipts can be created and/or activated through the handheld device.

Reduction of processing time – in SAP® standard, only activated inventory documents can be counted. During the continuous inventory, the time between planning and conducting the counting can be considerably reduced. The storage bins are blocked for any movement for only a short period of time.

Extensions to the SAP® standard: Counting of the stock of materials across

several storage bins inside of one organizational unit: The system adds the stock per material number and generates an inventory document. Easy quantity conversions simplify the entry of layouts or capacities (item x amount A x amount B x material-related data e.g. specific weight) during the data entry.

Storage bins are blocked for a shorter amount of time: The inventory receipt in WM (also in MM) can be activated on the mobile terminal immediately before counting.
