RENTAL Your standard rental package includes a jacket, a pair of pants, a vest, a shirt, a tie, cufflinks, suspenders, a pocket square, and shoes. Our pricing packages fit all budgets, especially if you only wear a suit once a year. We also offer a full size range in most styles, from children to big and tall; we have a perfect fit for everyone. We have 1 hour service for any last minute rentals.

1 hour service only offered at the South Edmonton Location. 24 hour service available at West Edmonton and Calgary locations.

RETAIL Purchasing your suit allows you to customize your look from head to toe. From fabric quality, to texture and design, the options are endless. Depending on the location and season of your event, you can pick a material that works best for you. For example, a lightweight wool would be well suited for a summer wedding, due to its natural fibers that are resistant to water and extremely breathable. After picking the color, style, and texture of your garment, it’s time for the next step: tailoring. Tailoring, by simple definition, is the addition and removal of fabric that helps to achieve a perfect fit for individual body types, ultimately leaving you with a customized look.

How should my garment fit?The fit and feel is based on the body type. There are numerous brands with different fits. Classic: A more comfortable, loser fit in the shoulders and body. Wider pant leg.Modern: Updated version of the classic cut fits closer to the body and has compressed shoulders, and a slightly slimmer leg.Slim: Slim fit jackets are cut closer to the body and fitted more to the silhouette. The garment fits tighter in the arms, waist, and chest, along with the thigh and pant leg.

How do I differentiate the grooms’ attire from the groomsmen attire?Today there are so many options for the grooms’ attire, but there are no rules or guidelines you must follow. The groom will have no problem finding just the right look to suit his personality. Going with completely different garment is becoming more and more popular, rather than the standard uniform look. The groom can also add a unique touch with a different tie and pocket square to set him apart.

What if I lose weight before the wedding?Rentals accommodate a large range of sizes and body types. With the warehouse on sight at the south side location, it is as easy as taking a few steps to get a new size. When purchasing a new suit, alterations should be completed around one month prior to the event. When booking at a local Derks agent allow yourself enough time for an exchange order if needed.

What color shoes do I wear with which color suit?With gray trousers, shoes can be black (conservative), dark brown (sophisticated), or ox blood.With navy, shoes can be black, dark brown or ox blood.With tan and olive, shoes can be all shades of brown or ox blood.With black trousers, shoes can be black or ox blood.

What buttons do I do up? The Kings Rule:One man’s style faux pas, ironically, became a suit buttoning standard.Edward VII, an overweight king, couldn’t fully button his suit jacket and waistcoat, and as a result always left the bottom button undone.His subjects (either out of respect or fear) followed suit. The trend of leaving the bottom button undone caught on.1 Button Jacket – Always done up2 Button Jacket – Top button always done up, bottom button opened.3 Button Jacket – Top button optional, middle button done up, and bottom button opened.
