DESCRIPTION

When we attend special occasions, we’re often asked to dress up formally, like for weddings or high class parties. This means women put on their loveliest dresses or blouses and skirts, and men put on their best suits paired with their best ties. - http://www.jamesmortonties.co.uk/ - PowerPoint PPT Presentation

Your Type of Ties: Three Examples of the Different Tie Types

Also called Bolo/Bola Ties in America, they were often seen being worn by cowboys in Western movies. In fact, that is how the were popularised.

Cravat. This is known to be the tie’s earliest form.

Cravats are known to be the first or earliest type of tie that existed. The word ‘cravat’ came from the French phrase à la croate, which loosely translates to ‘in the style of the Croats’.

Four-in-Hand Tie. These are the most common ties we see almost every day, and they are often used for uniforms and special occasions.

These three examples of ties can give us a general idea on what type might be best suited for ourselves or for our organisations.
