We are committed to providing your family and friends a beautiful backdrop of the majestic High Country’s mountains to share your most special occasions.

We offer several options to accommodate weddings and receptions of all sizes and styles, from an intimate elopement to an extravagant multi-day celebration. Whether you envision a traditional wedding format beginning with a chef prepared rehearsal dinner, a breathtaking outdoor ceremony, a magnificent reception followed by a gourmet farewell brunch, or if you desire a smaller, intimate gathering ~ Banner Elk Winery & Villa offers numerous picturesque options.

We have designed our wedding options to be as flexible as possible. Wedding packages may include rental of the entire Villa, a ceremony site such as the Grassy Knoll or Scenic Vineyard, and choice of reception location in the Tasting Room or Enchanted Barn.

Stunning Weddings

Wedding ServicesBanner Elk Winery & Villa provides spectacular sites for your ceremony, rehearsal dinner and reception. When you select one of our picturesque locations, we suggest contacting one of our preferred vendors to coordinate and accommodate every wish and family tradition throughout your event to make your fairy tale wedding absolutely perfect.



Wedding Accommodations

The VillaRental of the Villa is available with most wedding packages at Banner Elk Winery & Villa.

For smaller intimate weddings or elopements, the Tuscan inspired Villa’s interior or the lawn is an ideal and picturesque location for a smaller, intimate ceremony.

Smaller receptions are easily hosted in the Villa or on the lawn following the ceremony. The entire Villa can be reserved and is quoted separately. Elopements and intimate celebrations are also quoted individually based on the length, number of guests, and number of overnight Villa rooms required.



Ceremony Sites

The Scenic VineyardExchange vows on a lush carpet of green grass in rows of grapevines overlooking the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains. The Scenic Vineyard offers an awe-inspiring backdrop for elopements, and small or large ceremonies.

The Villa’s LawnThe Villa’s lawn can also be used for the wedding ceremony, with or without tents. This area can accommodate between 100-120 for a ceremony depending on the seating arrangement and tent size, if applicable.



Ceremony Site

The Grassy KnollSay “I Do’ surrounded by grapevines and our picturesque reflection pond. The manicured lush grounds and large stones naturally provide stunning wedding photographs. Dramatic half circle wrap around seating can accommodate ceremonies of up to 160 guests. The Grassy Knoll is ideal for the ceremony with the reception in our Tasting Room or Enchanted Barn. Tents can be set up if desired.



Ceremony & Reception Site

The Tasting RoomThe Winery’s Tasting Room is a beautiful setting for a ceremony, rehearsal dinner, or reception. For larger weddings, the Tasting Room can open to the manicured expansive lawns with lantern lit tents for seated dinners outside with the stone fire pit as the focal point. A truly picturesque setting. Utilizing tents, the lawn can accommodate up to 250 people, depending on the number of tents and tent set up.

The Tasting Room’s stone fireplace provides an excellent backdrop for the ceremony, and draws your eye upward to the pointed vaulted ceiling. Our Tasting Room can accommodate wedding ceremonies for up to 120. For receptions, luncheons, and rehearsal dinners, appetizers can be served for 125 guests standing or up to 80 guests for a sit down plated meal.



Ceremony & Reception Site

The Enchanted BarnRustically elegant or casually chic, our Enchanted Barn is a canvas waiting for your direction. Windows adorn one end and crystal chandeliers add a touch of refinement to this unique site. The Enchanted Barn hosts rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, and receptions. Capacity for seated dinners is 65. A 20’x20’ tent can be placed off the barn to create additional seating for 40 guests. For cocktail and passed hors d’ouerves stand-up events, the Enchanted Barn holds 105.
