Grace Events are delighted and excited to look after the décor for your big day! Our aim is to deliver a space that is totally you as a couple from the moment you step into the Barn. Already a unique and memorable venue, it’s our job to add the little touches that bring your personalities to the event. The package the hotel offer is fantastic and covers a multitude, from the table plan display and styling to the fresh greenery sprigs

tucked into your napkin fold. The choice available is varied and covers every style from classic and elegant to rustic and romantic with a touch of quirky! If you are getting married at the hotel also you will find all the information on your ceremony décor here too. We are available to meet with you in person at our home office in Miltown Malbay or organise a phone call/email to run through your ideas in more detail.

Your wedding décor guide for Hotel Doolin

Table Plan Display & Styling Your table plan is situated in the lobby area of the barn. It not only has a practical use but it also is the first impression of your wedding style. We have over 10 different options, wooden crates, old vintage windows, eco-friendly herb pots and even surf boards have featured! We also like to add some floral and candlelight to this space to add to the warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Top TableThe top table is the main focus of the evening and where most of your photos will be directed toward so we love a dramatic look here. Our new moon arch backdrop is a gorgeous addition to the collection, add in some fairy lights and floral to theme and your photos are framed perfectly. We are also delighted to have added some large fresh indoor plants behind the top table space, bringing the outdoors in!

Cake TableYour cake is displayed on a vintage style beer barrel with the addition of floral and candles to match your theme. Fresh floral for the cake is also included. Our cake hoop is positioned behind the cake and dressed to match your theme.

Bar AreaNew for 2020 is the unique photo area in the bar, our gold stand with floral attached brings a touch of colour into the bar space.This is popular as the night goes on for photos with your guests, selfies with your new mother in law etc! All the tables in the bar are lit with lanterns and decorated with floral to match the main barn theme also.

Table NumbersAgain we stock different options for the display of your table numbers or names. Gold frames, mini chalkboards, timber cuts – all printed up on cardstock to match theme.

Centrepieces With over 20 different options here, this is where you can really make your mark. Included in our range is everything from elegant silver candelabra and glassware to timber garden crates, wooden tree cuts and eco–friendly planter pots. You can add floral to match your theme and we definitely recommend candlelight to add some romance as the night sets in.

Table Runners Available in many shades, bring a wash of colour to the table with a choice of organza, silk or chiffon table runners.

NapkinsWe love to add a sprig of greenery to top table napkins, or a simple satin ribbon to bring a colour scheme to life.

Ceremony DécorIf you are lucky enough to also be having your ceremony at the hotel then the good news is all your décor is looked after! Included in the package is the following:

-- Welcome area with signage at the start of the aisle-- Fresh floral on chairs facing aisle side -- Lanterns on line the aisle-- Bridal chairs dressed with floral -- Ceremony table floral and candles -- Ceremony arch-- Aisle runner * All available for use outside also for those balmy Summer days!

It’s a great idea to have your colour scheme decided and then get in touch

as so much is determined by the overall colours you would like to incorporate.

Also really handy to have had a browse through our stock, this will give you

an idea on what you like/don’t like and we can start to narrow it down a bit! The amount of choice can be a little

overwhelming so start making a list of what appeals.

Do we have to do anything on the day?

You can rest assured that your only job on the day is to arrive and relax!

Once we have a plan in place that you are happy with then we look after

everything.

We have favours/bathroom baskets/guest book etc to set out on the day,

who looks after this?

Feel free to use us! Let us know about any extras you have and we can look

after the set up for you.

Do I need a florist for the venue?

From a floral perspective, everything on the tables/displays is included so you will only need to organise bouquets/buttonholes with your florist if you are getting married at the venue.

Can we order extra décor from your website that isn’t included in the package?

Yes, subject to availability. Just let me know what appeals to you and I will give you pricing for same.

Do you provide church décor?

If you are getting married in a nearby church then please let me us know and we can send you on all the details of our church packages, designed to complement the décor at the hotel. This is not included in your package but is very competitively priced. We are extremely busy so if this is an option you would like to avail of then please let me know asap.
