Inter College Youth Festival

and

Rules and Regulations for

All India Inter University Youth Festival

Physical Education Section

Physical Education Section of Saurashtra University persistently contributes to the welfare and holistic development of students through sports, adventure, recreational and cultural activities. Keeping in mind the fundamental pillars of Students development activities Encouragement, Edutainment Empowerment, Enlightenment and Employment, devoted and dedicated workforce of PES are always ready to contributes in creating sports culture and active living life style not only in the student’s fraternities but also employees of the University. It also aims at providing platform for students exploring their innate potentialities in different dimensions and aspects of their creativities, aesthetical, psycho-social-cultural heritage, spiritual and artistry. So that our youth can become pronounced protectors of cultural heritage of the nation. Focusing the mind of the youth on the rich tradition and cultural heritage of the Nation and providing an opportunity to display their special talents and aptitudes

Vision: Youth Empowerment Through Holistic Development Mission: Provide Common Platform for Youth to Display their Special Talent and Aptitudes. Main Objectives:

The youth festival aims to propagate the concept of national integration, spirit of communal harmony, brotherhood, courage, talent identification and adventure amongst the youth by exhibiting their cultural prowess in a common platform.

Motto:

Propagate Diffident form of Art and Cultural Heritage amongst the youth of the

University;

Self-Actualization and Self Realization of Innate Potentialities in Youth of the

University;

Channelization of Surplus Energy of the Youth in to Artistry, National Integrity,

Civic Responsibility and Sociability;

Promote Involvement and Participation of the Youth in the Nation Building

Activities.

Board of Cultural Activities (THE BOARD FOR CULTURAL ACTIVITIES)

Ordinance 29

There shall be a Board for Cultural Activities in the University. It shall consist of :

(i) The Vice-Chancellor.

(ii) The Pro-Vice-Chancellor, if any.

(iii) One Principal, one teacher, from affiliated colleges, recognized

institutions and University Departments, one Senate member and one

student representative from affiliated colleges, recognized institutions

and University Departments nominated by the Syndicate, representing

the Rajkot City, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Amreli, Junagadh, Surendranagar and

Jamnagar Districts.

(iv) One Principal or teacher of a Music College affiliated to the University

(iv) The Director of Youth Welfare of the University, if any.

(v) The Director of Physical Education.

(vi) Students Welfare Officer of the University.

(vii) Note : The Students Welfare Officer of the University will act as Secretary

to the board.

Ordinance 30

(1) The members of the Board except student representatives nominated by the

Syndicate will hold office for three years. Student representatives will hold office for

one year.

(2) The Board shall meet at least twice every year and at such other times when

convened by the Vice-Chancellor or in his absence by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor, if any,

or in absence of both, by the Registrar.

(3) Nine members shall form a quorum for a meeting of the Board and the Vice-

Chancellor or in his absence, the Pro Vice-Chancellor, if any, if present, shall preside

at the meeting of the Board. In the absence of both, the meeting shall elect its own

Chairman from amongst the members, other than the students' representatives.

Ordinance 31

The following shall be the functions of the Board :

(i) to organize the cultural and literary activities of the University and to

recommend to the Vice-Chancellor entries for such activities or

competitions of such activities at the State level or All India level.

(ii) to organize your festival competitions, if any, and to recommend to the

Vice-Chancellor entries for such festivals or competitions at the State

level or All India level.

(iii) to provide workshops and to arrange for hobby centres in the University,

when provision for financing such activities are made by the Syndicate.

(iv) to take up any other project to promote cultural and literary activities,

amongst the students of the University in general and to make rules for

the same after the finances are provided by the Syndicate.

(v) to appoint sub-committees to consider and to decide such matters as

may be referred to them by the Board.

(vi) to plan its activities in such a manner that co-ordination is effected

between the colleges and University, for purpose of organizing its

activities, and

(vii) to carry out the activities which may be referred to it by the Syndicate.

Ordinance 32

(i) All cultural and literary activities shall be organized at the University level and

will be entrusted to the various affiliated colleges for organizing the same on

behalf of the University.

(ii) The college or colleges, which are entrusted with the organization of cultural

and/ or literary activities shall constitute an organizing committee as may be

decided by the Principal of the college, wherein teachers of the college and

leading local personnel including experts, if any, shall be included. The

Principal of the college shall act as Chairman of the committee. The

committee shall also have powers to decide appeals and its decision shall be

final and binding to the participants. (iii) The following shall be the per item

entry fee prescribed for the participating teams :

a. Rupees twenty if the team for a particular item is to consist of three or

more participants.

b. where individuals are to be nominated by the colleges, the entry fee shall

be rupees five in case of one individual and rupees ten in case of two

individuals.

(iv) The entry fee shall be sent to the University by the concerned colleges,

recognized institutions or University Departments on or before the date

fixed by the University every year.

(v) The expenditure on boarding and lodging and other expenditure like

transport, etc. shall be borne by the concerned college, institution or

University Department.

(vi) The local organizing committee at the college or colleges, or the University

when it conducts competitions directly, shall have the authority to appoint

judges experts etc. as may be required from the lists supplied by the

University.

(viii) The remuneration etc. to judges, experts and others shall be paid according

to the rules prescribed by the Board and approved by the Syndicate from

time to time.

Ordinance 33

(i) The Board shall prescribe rules from time to time for the organization of

cultural, literary or other such activities as it may like to organize and shall

circulate the same to the colleges, recognized institutions, and University

Departments.

(ii) The Board shall have authority to issue instructions from time to time in

connection with the organization of its activities.

(iii) The Board shall have the authority to decide and to levy entrance fees and

such other fees as may be deemed proper by it, from time to time for carrying

out its activities.

Rules and Regulation for Inter College Youth Festival

Events organized at Inter College Level only

A. ELIGIBILITY RULES

Participation of student is restricted to only maximum two events from each college.

1. Only bonafide, full time student, who is enrolled for a degree or post graduate degree

or diploma course which is of a minimum duration of one academic year and whose

examination is conducted by the University subsequent to passing the 12th class examination.

1.1 Students of open universities shall be considered to be bonafide students and shall

be eligible to participate provided they fulfill other conditions. However students enrolled in

correspondence course in Institute / Centers of Universities casual students external students

and students pursuing bridge course shall not be eligible.

2. All students for participating in the Intercollegiate Youth Festival activities shall fulfill the

following conditions:

a. Not more than 7 years have elapsed since a student passed the examination qualifying

him/her for first admission to a degree or diploma course of a University of college

affiliated to a University.

b. Only students, who are less than 25 years of age, can participate.

c. Further, students can participate for one year more than the normal length of the

academic program which he / she is following.

3. A student employed on full time basis shall not be eligible to

participate.

4. A student shall not be allowed to represent more than one college during a single

academic year.

5. Provisional admission to a course of a University or college shall not make the student

eligible to represent the college in the Intercollegiate Youth Festival activities.

6. In case of a student migrating from one University to another his / her migration case will

be considered eligible only after his / her admission in the new University is regularized and

he/she is admitted as a bonafide student by the new University.

B. EXPLANATION:

1. For the purpose of computing years of eligibility one year will cover means

the academic year in which the cultural activity is held irrespective of whether

the students result is declared or not. It will normally be extended from June /

July of one year to 12 calendar months to the next year

2. The restriction of participation in Intercollegiate Youth Festival activities to a period of one

year more than the length/ duration of academic course means that he students pursuing a

three year degree programme ( i.e B.A, B.Sc., B.Com., etc.) can participate for four years,

while a student pursuing four year programme ( i.e B.E., B.Tech. etc.) can participate for

five years. One year in addition to the course

C. DISQUALIFICATION FOR VIOLATION OF ELIGIBILITY

RULES:

1. Any disqualification of a participant on ground of ineligibility will result in the

automatic scratching of the contingent for that academic year. The contingent shall

also be debarred from participating in the Youth Festival activities to be held in the

following years.

2. A Participant qualified on the grounds of ineligibility shall not be permitted to

participate in Inter Collegiate Youth Festival activities in the next year.

Note: Accompanists would preferably be the students, who will be given

participation certificates. However, outsiders may be allowed if suitable students

are not available. Participating colleges are strongly requested not to bring an

extra person. No extra person shall be entertained at any cost.

Contingent In-charge:

Participating college shall send a maximum of two persons as contingent In charge, who

will maintain a liaison with the organizing committee of the host College/ University.

Lady contingent leader is essential for girl participants.

Identity Card:

Identity Cards with photographs signed by the appropriate authorities by the respective

college should be carried by the participants.

College Flags

The contingent leader shall have to deposit his/her two college flags with the host college

/university.

Travelling Expenses:

The participating college will have to bear the travelling expenses.

Strength of Contingent

Strength of Contingent: Maximum 40 per University

Note: Accompanists would preferably be the students, who will be given participation certificates.

However, outsiders may be allowed if suitable students are not available. At the most 8, outsider

accompanists are allowed, who will be included in the contingent of 42. A student, who has

participated in Solo events of the I U National Youth Festival for Four years, would not be permitted

to participate in the UNIFESTS. Participating universities are strongly requested not to bring

an extra person. No extra person shall be entertained at any cost.

Contingent In-charge:

Participating University shall send a maximum of two persons as contingent In-charge, who will

maintain a liaison with the organizing committee of the host University. Lady contingent leader is

essential for girl participants. Officials will be included in the contingent of 42

Identity Card:

Identity Cards with photographs signed by the appropriate authorities by the respective University

should be carried by the participants.

University Flags & Trophies:

The contingent leader shall have to deposit his/her two University flags with the host University.

Last year winners and runners shall bring the trophies with them.

Travelling Expenses:

The participating University will have to bear the traveling expenses. University may avail of

Railway concession from, if they desire, as festivals, are a part of the National Integration camp

scheme.

Food:

Food shall be provided by the Host University.

Boarding & Lodging :

Free board and lodging would be provided to the participating teams during the Inter Zonal and

National Youth Festivals. Participating troupes from the Universities could be housed as guests in

students hostels, utilizing common rooms. verandahs, etc..

Festival Committee :

The host University would form various sub-committees to smoothen the conduct of the conduct of

the Festival which would function under a standing committee.

The sub-committees may include Reception, Transport, Infrastructure Programme, Publicity,

Inaugural/Valedictory. There would also be a control room to control the festival activities.

Clothing :

It is advised that sufficient warm bedding, blankets, woolen clothes, medicines and locks etc.

should be brought by the contingent. The participant and officials are advised to get inoculated

against cholera and typhoid.

Discipline :

If the behavior of any contingent is found contrary to the objectives of the festivals the host

University may take suitable action against members concerned and an individual / team be debarred

from participation in the future youth festivals for three years under intimation to AIU.

As far as possible, students shall be involved in the organization and management of the festivals.

No official or any member University shall go to press on any controversial issue. The consumption

of liquor, Eve Teasing, influencing the adjudicators, indecent behavior inside the campus and venue

is strictly prohibited. Those violating this clause shall be liable to disciplinary action which may be

to the extent of debarring the concerned University Team Official from participation in the Inter

University Youth Activities for a period as may be determined by the AIU Cultural Committee.

In order to have creativity, the Cultural Contingents are requested to present new Cultural items and

not to repeat the same, which they presented in the preceding year.

Stamp Size Photos:

Two stamp photographs of each participant, accompanists and official delegates are required to be

sent to the host University in advance.

Other Rules:

1. A cultural Procession/ March past of participating Universities shall be organized on

4. Participating Universities are informed that the use of fireworks/ arms is strictly prohibited.

However, if it is unavoidable for cultural performance, their imitation may be used with the

prior permission of the organizing committee.

5. Recorded music/ audio cassettes are not permitted during the Folk/ Tribal, Creative Dance

and Classical dance.

6. A sum of Rs.1000/- refundable caution money shall be deposited by each team at the time

of Registration. The cost of any loss of stores/ damage to the property issued but not returned

shall be deducted out of it

1. Music

(a) Classical Vocal Solo: (Hindustani / Karnatk)

(1) Only one entry per Institution is allowed. Duration of performance- 10 min.

(2) Time for stage/ Instruments setting is maximum 5 minutes.

(3) Maximum number of accompanists is two.

(4) Item can be presented in either Hindustani or Karnatk style.

(5) Cinema songs are not allowed under this item.

(6) Sufficient thought and care must be exercised in the choice of Raga and composition.

(7) Judgment will be based on the qualities like, tal, selection of raga, composition and general

impression.

શાસ્ત્રીય કંઠ્યસગંીત (CLASSICAL VOCAL SOLO) HINDUSTANI OR KARNATAK):

આ સ્પધાામાાં એક હદરફ ભાગ લઈ શકશે. સ્પધાાની સમયમયાાદા ૧૦ તમતનટની રહશેે.

સ્પધાકે પોિાનુાં વાદ્ય-સાધન લઈ આવવાનુાં રહશેે. કેતસયો જેવા ઉપકરણોનો ઉપયોગ કરી શકશે નહીં.

ભારિીય રાગ શૈલીની આઈટેમ રજૂ કરી શકાશે.

દહન્દ્દુસ્િાની અથવા કણાાટકી શૈલીની આઈટેમ રજૂ કરી શકાશે.

સ્વર, િાલ, રાગની પસાંદગી, કમ્પોઝીશન િથા સમગ્ર રજૂઆિની કક્ષાને ધ્યાનમાાં લઈને તનણાય આપવામાાં આવશે.

(d) Light Vocal (Indian) (1) Only one entry per Institution is allowed.

આ સ્પધાામાાં એક હદરફ ભાગ લઈ શકશે.

સ્પધાાની સમયમયાાદા ઓછામાાં ઓછી િાર વધમુાાં વધ ુછ તમતનટની રહશેે.

તસનેમા તસવાયની પ્રાિીન-ગીિ, ગઝલ, શબ્દ, ભજન, અભાંગ રજૂ કરી શકાશે.

આ સ્પધાાના સ્વર, િાલ, કમ્પોઝીશન વગેરે બાબિોને તનણાાયકો દ્વારા પ્રાધાન્દ્ય આપાશે.

(2) Time for Stage/ Instruments setting is maximum 2 minutes.

(3) The number of accompanists would not be more than two.

(4) Duration of the song shall be between 4 to 6 minutes.

(5) Language of the song shall only be English.

(6) Judgment will be made on the qualities like, composition rhythm, coordination and general

impression.

પશ્ચિમી વ્યક્તતગત કંઠ્ય સગંીત (WESTERN VOCAL SOLO):

દરેક સાંસ્થામાાંથી ફક્િ એક સ્પધાક ભાગ લઈ શકશે.

માંિ સાધનની ગોઠવણ માટે વધમુાાં વધ ુબે તમતનટ મળશે.

સ્પધાક સાથે બે થી વધ ુસહયોગી રાખી નહીં શકાય.

સ્પધાાની સમયમયાાદા ઓછામાાં ઓછી િાર વધમુાાં વધ ુછ તમતનટની રહશેે. .

ગીિની ભાષા ફક્િ અંગે્રજી હોવી જોઈએ.

તનણાયનો આધાર ગીિની રિના, ધનૂ, સમન્દ્વય અને સામાન્દ્ય પ્રભાવ પર રહશેે.

(f) Group Song (Indian):


(2) A team has to present two songs, one patriotic and another will be a folk song.

(3) Maximum 6 singers in a group and number of accompanists playing instruments shall be three.

(4) The group songs should be taken from Indian songs which can be in regional language.

(5) No film song should be presented as group song.

(6) Maximum time allowed for the group song is 10 minutes which does not include setting time.

The setting time for a group shall not exceed 4 minutes.

(7) Judging of this items will be on the basis of quality of singing only and not on make- up,

costumes and actions of the team.

સમહૂગીત (GROUP SONG) (INDIAN):

દરેક સાંસ્થામાાંથી ફક્િ એક સ્પધાક ભાગ લઈ શકશે.

બે સમહૂગીિ રજૂ કરવાના રહશેે. જે પૈકી એક લોકગીિ હોવુાં જ જોઈએ.

સમહૂગીિના ગાયક કલાકારની સાંખ્યા વધમુાાં વધ ુછ રાખી શકાશે. ગાયક કલાકારની ઉપરાાંિ વધમુાાં વધ ુત્રણ સાજીદા

સમહૂગીિમાાં ભાગ લઈ શકશે.

ગીિ ગજુરાિી અથવા દહન્દ્દી ભાષામાાં રહશેે.

સમહૂગીિની આ સ્પધાામાાં તસનેમાના કોઈપણ ગીિનો સમાવેશ કરી શકાશે નદહ.

આ સ્પધાાનો સમય સ્ટેજ સજ્જજાથી િાર તમતનટ થી વધ ુનહીં અને સમગ્ર રજૂઆિ ફક્િ ૧૦ તમતનટમાાં પણૂા કરવાની

રહશેે.

ગીિકૃતિમાાં સૌરાષ્ટ્રની અસ્સ્મિાના દશાન થિાાં હોય િેવી કૃતિની તવતશષ્ટ્ટ છાપ અને ગણુવત્તાને જ ધ્યાને લેવાશે

મેકઅપ, ગણવેશ, ટીમ એક્શન ને ગણુ ગણિરી વખિે ધ્યાનમાાં લેવામાાં આવશે નહીં

સમહૂ ગીિ અંગે્રજી ભાષામાાં હોવુાં જોઈએ.

માંિ/વાજજિંત્ર ગોઠવવા માટે વધમુાાં વધ ુપાાંિ તમતનટ મળશે, જ્યારે સમહૂ ગીિ ગાન માટે મહત્તમ સમયમયાાદા ૧૦

તમતનટની રહશેે.

આ સ્પધાાના તનણાય માટે ગાવાની ગણુવત્તા ધ્યાને લેવાશે, વેશભષૂા કે હલન િલન ધ્યાને નહીં લેવાય.

(h) Folk Orchestra:

(1) Each University can send only one team.

(2) The team shall consist of up to 12 participants.

(3) The group can consist of all boys or all girls or combined.

(4) The duration of the performance will be a minimum for 7 and a maximum for 10 minutes.

(5) This does not include setting time which shall not be more than 5 minutes.

(6) Up to three professional accompanists are allowed who should be in different dress from the

student participants so that they could be easily identified.

(7) The professional accompanists shall sit / stand separately from the participants and shall not

lead the team.

(8) The team may present preferably those folk tunes which are recognized as folk tunes of the

state to which the university belongs)

લોકવાદ્ય સગંીત :

પ્રત્યેક યતુનવતસિટી ફક્િ એક જ ટીમ (ટુકડી) મોકલી શકશે.

પ્રત્યેક ટીમમાાં ૧૨ જેટલા સ્પધાકો ભાગ લઈ શકશે .

પ્રત્યેક ગપૃમાાં બધાાં જ છોકરાઓ અથવા છોકરીઓ અથવા બને્ન સાથે એ રીિે ભાગ લઈ શકશે

. કૃતત્ત પ્રસ્તતુિની સમયમયાાદા ઓછામાાં ઓછી ૦૭ તમતનટ અને વધમુાાં વધ ુ૧૦ તમતનટની રહશેે.

પ્રસ્તતુિની િૈયારી માટે ૦૫ તમતનટથી વધારે સમય નદહ મળી શકે.

વધમુાાં વધ ુ૦૩ વ્યાવસાતયક વાદકો રાખી શકાશે. એ વાદકોએ પોિાની સરળ ઓળખ માટે, સ્પધાક તવદ્યાથીઓ કરિાાં

અલગ પ્રકારના વસ્ત્રો (ડે્રસ કોડ) પહરેવાના રહશેે.

વ્યાવસાતયક વાદકોએ બેઠાાં બેઠાાં કે ઊભાાં ઊભાાં, સ્પધાકોથી અલગ રહીને પ્રસ્તતુિ કરવાની રહશેે અને િેઓ ટીમનુાં

નેતતૃ્વ નહીં કરી શકે.

ટીમ દ્વારા એવી લોકધનૂ પ્રસ્તિુ થવી જરૂરી છે, જે લોકધનૂ િરીકે માન્દ્ય હોય અને જે િે યતુનવતસિટીના રાજ્યની

તવસ્િારની ઓળખ પ્રગટાવિી હોય.

(i) Western Instrumental Solo

(1) A participant shall play western music on any percussion or non-percussion instrument.

(2) The duration of the performance is minimum 6 and maximum 8 minutes. The computation of

time shall start immediately after the final announcement by the organizers.

(3) Maximum 2 accompanists are allowed.

(4) The participant is to perform any one genre/style or fuse various genres/styles of western

music.

(5) Three minutes of setting time will be given to each participant.

2. Dance

(a) Folk / Tribal Dance


(2) Maximum 10 participants allowed per team. The team may consist of all boys, all girls or a mixture of both.

(3) The number of accompanists permissible is five.

(4) The dance can be either primitive or a folk dance ( Indian Style) but not a classical one.

(5) Duration of dance should not be more than 10 minutes.

(6) Three copies of a brief note giving the theme and the text of song if any, is to be submitted along

with the entry form at the time of registration.

(7) The participating team will be responsible for removal of their sets / properties etc. immediately

after the completion of their performance.

(8) Judgment will be based on the basis of Rhythm, Formation, Expression, Costumes, Make-up,

Sets on Overall Effect.

(9) Time for sets/ Instruments setting is maximum 5 minutes.

સમહૂ લોક નતૃ્ય (FOLK/TRIBAL DANCE): અથવા પ્રાચીન રાસ (FOLK DANCE):

આ સ્પધાામાાં ભાગ લેનાર કલાકારોની સાંખ્યા વધમુાાં વધ ુદશની રહશેે. જેમાાં માત્ર ભાઈઓ કે બહનેો અથવા ભાઈઓ

અને બહનેો સાંયકુ્િ ભાગ લઈ શકશે.

વધમુાાં વધ ુપાાંિ સહાયકો રાખી શકાશે. (નોંધ: સહાયકોની ગેરહાજરીમાાં પાંદર વ્યસ્ક્િઓ નતૃ્યમાાં ભાગ લઈ શકશે.)

આ સ્પધાાની સમયમયાાદા દશ તમતનટની રહશેે.

ગીિની કૃતિ, શીષાક અને તવષયવસ્તનુી િાર નકલ એન્દ્રી સાથે મોકલવાની રહશેે.

સ્પધાક ટીમે સ્પધાા પરૂી થયે પોિાની સાધન-સામગ્રી સ્ટેજ પરથી િાત્કાચલક ખસેડી લેવાની રહશેે.

તનણાાયકો લય-િાલ, રજૂઆિ, પોષાક, મેકઅપ, સેટસ, સાંયોજન અને સમગ્ર અસરને તનણાયમાાં અગ્રિા આપશે.

આ સ્પધાામાાં સ્પધાકે રાસ લેિાની સાથે જ ગાવાનુાં રહશેે. સાજીંદાઓ સાથે બેસીને ગાઈ શકશે નદહ અને સી.ડી. ઉપર

રાસ લઈ શકશે નદહ િેમજ કોલર માઈક પણ િાલશે નદહ.

સમહૂ નતૃ્યમાાં નીિે પ્રમાણેના કાયાક્રમોનો સમાવેશ થઈ શકશે. (અ) દટતપણી નતૃ્ય (બ) માછીમાર (ક) વણઝારા (ડ)

ખેડૂિ વગેરેનાાં નતૃ્ય (ઈ) આદદવાસીઓના નતૃ્ય, પરપ્રાાંિ સદહિના રજૂ કરી શકાશે. પરાંત ુપપેટ નતૃ્ય, રાસ અને ગરબા

રજૂ કરી શકાશે નદહ.

સાજીંદામાાં દક-બોડા (સાંગીિ ઇન્દ્સ્ટમેન્દ્ટ કેસીયો)નો ઉપયોગ કરી શકાશે.

આ સ્પધાામાાં સ્પધાકે નતૃ્ય કરિાની સાથે ગાઈ શકશે િેમજ સાજજિંદાઓ સાથે બેસીને પણ ગાઈ શકશે. સી.ડી. ઉપર

સમહૂ નતૃ્ય રજૂ કરી શકશે નદહ િેમજ કોલર માઈક પણ િાલશે નદહ.

(b) Classical Dance (Indian)

(1) Each Institute can send only one entry.

(2) The classical dance can be from any of the approved schools of dance. Such as Kathak,

Kathakali, Bharat Natyam, Manipuri, Kuchipudi, Mohinittam, Odissi etc.

(3) Participant will be allowed up to 15 minutes including time for preparation. Maximum three

accompanists are permissible.

(4) Judgment will be based on the qualities like Tal, Technique, Rhythm, Abhinaya or Expression,

Costumes, Footwork and general impression etc.

(5) Three copies of a brief note on the description of dance story involved in it, if any, and of the

accompanying song, with its meaning in Hindi or English must be submitted at the time of

registration.

શાસ્ત્રીય નતૃ્ય (CLASSICAL DANCE)

આ સ્પધાા માટે દરેક કૉલેજ પસાંદ કરીને એક કલાકાર મોકલી શકશે.

નીિેના પ્રકારોમાાંથી કોઈપણ એક પર રજૂ કરી શકાશે.

કથ્થક કથકલી, ભરિ નાટયમ,્ મણીપરુી , કુિીપડુી, મોહીતનટટમ ઓદડસી તવગેરે ... . શાસ્ત્રીય નતૃ્ય સ્પધાામાાં સમયમયાાદા ૧૫ તમતનટની રહશેે. સાથ સાંગીિમાાં વધમુાાં વધ ુત્રણ વ્યસ્ક્િઓ રાખી શકાશે.

મલૂ્યાાંકનમાાં િાલ, ટેકનીક, રીધમ, હાવભાવ, વેશ-પદરધાન, ફુટવકા અને સમગ્ર અસરને ધ્યાનમાાં લેવામાાં આવશે.

સ્પધાામાાં પરી રેકોડેડ સાંગીિનો /સીડી / કેસેટનો ઉપયોગ કરી શકાશે.

નોંધણી સમયે નતૃ્યની સાંચક્ષતિ તવગિો ગજુરાિી દહન્દ્દી અથવા અંગે્રજીમાાં રજુ કરવાની રહશેે.

3. LITERARY EVENTS

(a) Quiz

(1) Each Institute can send a team of three persons.

(2) There will be a written preliminary round and teams will be elected for the final.

(3) Finals will be oral with audio- visual questions.

(4) The Specific rules regarding evaluation procedure, time to reply a particular answer and the

type of round will be given before the actual start of the competition.

ક્તવઝ (QUIZ) :

દરેક કૉલેજ ત્રણ તવદ્યાથીની ટીમ મોકલી શકશે.

પ્રાથતમક (પહલેો) રાઉન્દ્ડ ચલચખિ રૂપમાાં રહશેે અને ફાઈનલ માટે ટીમની પસાંદગી કરવામાાં આવશે. ચલચખિ રાઉન્દ્ડમાાં

બને્ન તવદ્યાથીના સરેરાશ માકા પસાંદગી માટે ગણાશે.

ફાઈનલ રાઉન્દ્ડ રશ્ય-શ્રાવ્ય પ્રશ્નો સાથેનો મૌચખક રૂપનો રહશેે.

મલૂ્યાાંકન પદ્ધતિ, ઉત્તરો આપવાની સમયમયાાદા અને તવતવધ પ્રકારના રાઉન્દ્ડ તવશેના િોક્કસ તનયમો સ્પધાા શરૂ થિા

પહલેાાં આપવામાાં આવશે.

(b) Elocution:

(1) Each Institute will be represented by one speaker.

(2) Medium of expression will be Hindi or English.

(3) Each speaker will be allowed to speak for maximum five minutes in the Zonal Festival and 10

minutes in the National Festival.

(4) Subject / Topic of Elocution will be announced in the managers meeting.

(5) The performance will be judged in one language.

(6) The item shall be prose or poetry and not song.

(7) The sequence of speakers will be decided by a draw of lots.

વકતતૃ્વ સ્પર્ાા (ELOCUTION):

સ્પધાા ગજુરાિી, દહન્દ્દી, કે અંગે્રજી ભાષામાાં રહશેે.

સ્પધાાનો તવષય નક્કી કરીને યતુનવતસિટી િરફથી ૨૪ કલાક પહલેા જાહરે કરવામાાં આવશે.

તવષય રાષ્ટ્રની એકિાને પોષે, સમાજ અને રાષ્ટ્રના તવકાસમાાં ફાળો આપે, યવુાનોને સ્વિાંત્ર રીિે પોિાના તવિારો

રજૂ કરવાની િક આપે એવા તવષયો સામાન્દ્ય રીિે પસાંદ કરવામાાં આવશે.

આ સ્પધાા માટે એક સ્પધાકને કૉલેજ કક્ષાએ સ્પધાા યોજીને િેમાાંથી પસાંદ કરીને મોકલવાની રહશેે.

સ્પધાકનો ક્રમ ડ્રો દ્વારા નક્કી થશે

(c) Debate:

(1) Each Institute will be represented by the two debaters, one will speak FOR, While another will

speak AGAINST the motion.

(2) Medium of expression will be Hindi or English.

(3) Topic of Debater will be announced 24 hours in advance.

(4) Each debater will be allowed to speak for maximum five minutes in the Zonal Festival and 10

minutes in the National Festival.

(5) The competitor from each Institute will speak FOR and AGAINST the motion. Paper reading

is not allowed.

ડીબેટ (DEBATE):

ડીબેટની સ્પધાા માટે જે-િે કૉલેજ બે વ્યસ્ક્િ પસાંદ કરીને મોકલી શકશે.એક વ્યસ્ક્િ તવષયની િરફેણમાાં બીજી વ્યસ્ક્િ

તવષયની તવરુદ્ધમાાં બોલશે.

રજૂઆિ સ્થાતનક ભાષા અથવા દહન્દ્દી કે અંગે્રજીમાાં કરી શકશે

ડીબેટ સ્પધાાનો તવષય ૨૪ કલાક અગાઉવિામાનપત્રોમાાં પ્રતસદ્ધ કરવામાાં આવશે.

ડીબેટ સ્પધાાનો કુલ સમય પાાંિ તમતનટનો રહશેે. ડીબેટ સ્પધાામાાં ભાગ લેિી બને્ન વ્યસ્ક્િઓને પાાંિ-પાાંિ તમતનટ

ફાળવવામાાં આવશે.

4. THEATRE

(a) One-Act-Play:

(1) Only one entry shall be accepted from each Institution.

(2) The duration of the play should not exceed 30 minutes.

(3) Time will be counted as soon as the signal is given or the team starts giving introduction,

whichever is earlier. Empty stage to empty stage shall be followed strictly. For stage

setting and removal of set and properties, up to 10 minutes will be given after taking

charge of the stage.

(4) The number of participants should not exceed nine and the maximum number of

accompanists should not exceed three. The participating team shall bring their own set/

stage property, make up material etc. Light and general property such as ordinary furniture

may be provided on advance information.

(5) Participants may speak in Hindi, English or any regional language of India. In case, the

language is a regional one, the synopsis of the play with translation in, English or Hindi

must be submitted to the In-charge of the competition on the day of registration.

(6) The participating team must report to the In charge of the competition at least two hours

before the presentation of the play.

(7) Judgment will most likely be based on the qualities of the play like theme, work on acting,

stage craft, design and general impression etc.

(8) Decision of the panel of judges will be final and binding upon all.

(9) Accompanists will either speak from the background or will play upon musical Instruments

for background music. They shall not appear on the stage.

એકાકંી (ONE ACT PLAY):

એકાાંકી સ્પધાા માટેનો સમય ૩૦ તમતનટનો રહશેે. આ સમયમયાાદામાાં નાટકનાાં તસનોસીઝનો સમય પણ ગણત્રીમાાં

લેવામાાં આવશે. કલાકારોની સાંખ્યા પ્રોમ્પટર સદહિ ૧૨ થી વધ ુરાખવા દેવામાાં આવશે નદહ. સાંખ્યામાાં દદગ્દશાક અને

સહાયકો વગેરેનો સમાવેશ થઈ જાય છે. પાત્ર ભજવનાર કલાકારો કૉલેજના તવદ્યાથીઓ જ હોવા જોઈએ.

યતુનવતસિટી શકય હશે ત્યાાં સધુી ખરુશી, ટેબલ, કે સ્કૂલ જેવુાં ફતનિિર પરુૂાં પાડશે, પરાંત ુએ તસવાય અન્દ્ય કોઈ ખાનગી

કે ફતનિિરની જરૂર હોય િો િેની વ્યવસ્થા એકાાંકી ભજવિી કૉલેજે કરી લેવાની રહશેે.

એકાાંકી સ્પધાામાાં ટેકનીક, લાઈટીંગ, સેટીંગ વગેરેના ગણુ આપવામાાં આવિા નથી િેનો સ્પષ્ટ્ટ ખ્યાલ સ્પધાામાાં

ઊિરિી કૉલેજે રાખવાનો રહશેે. આ અચભનય, હલન-િલન, કૃતિની પસાંદગી, કલા, અચભરુચિ, િખ્િાલાયકી,

સાંવાદોની અચભવ્યદકિ, પે્રક્ષકગણ ઉપર પડિો પ્રભાવ વગેરેને પ્રાધાન્દ્ય આપિા એકાાંકીઓ પસાંદ કરવા ઈચ્છનીય

છે. કારણ કે ગણુ આપિી વખિે આ બાબિોને મહત્ત્વ આપવામાાં આવશે. ૩૦ તમતનટ કરિાાં વધ ુસમય લેવામાાં આવે

િેવા નાટકોને માઈનસ ઓછા ગણુ આપવામાાં આવશે.

કૉલેજ સ્પધાામાાં ભાગ લેનાર તવદ્યાથીઓ, સહાયકો, દદગ્દશાક વગેરે અંગે આપેલી માદહિીમાાંથી કોઈ માદહિી ખોટી

પરૂવાર થાય અથવા નાટકની મળૂ કથાવસ્તઓુમાાં કોઈ ફેરફાર કરવામાાં આવે કે કોઈપણ પ્રકારની ગેરરીતિ આિરેલી

હોય અથવા કાયાક્રમ દરમ્યાન આપવામાાં આવિા હોય કે કોઈ એવા સાંજોગો ઊભા થાય જેથી નાટકને સ્પધાામાાંથી

બાકાિ રાખવાની જરૂર જણાય અથવા આવા પ્રકારના કોઈ કારણો ઉપસ્સ્થિ થાય િો િેવા નાટકોને શરૂ કરિાાં પહલેાાં

કે છેલ્લી તમતનટે સ્પધાામાાંથી રદ કરવાની સત્તા યતુનવતસિટીની રહશેે. જેની સામે કોઈ અપીલનો અવકાશ રહશેે નદહ.

એકાાંકીની સ્ક્રીતટની નકલ એન્દ્રી ફોમા સાથે જ મોકલવાની રહશેે. િે તસવાયની એન્દ્રી રદ ગણાશે.

બને ત્યાાં સધુી વારાંવાર રજૂ થયેલા એકાાંકીઓ ફરી રજૂ ન થાય િે માટે ભાગ લેનાર કૉલેજોએ એકાાંકી પસાંદ કરિી

વખિે ધ્યાન રાખવુાં જરૂરી છે.

(b) Skit:

(1) Only one team per institute will be allowed.

(2) Maximum number of six participants are allowed to participate in this item.

(3) Maximum time allotted for each team is 10 minutes.

(4) Use of make-up, drapery and background music is allowed. No personal remarks,

aspersions, character assassination etc. is allowed.

(5) Participating team should submit three copies of the synopsis of the theme of Skit, along

with language of presentation (Hindi or English) on the day of registration.

(6) The item will be Judged basically on the qualities like theme, work on acting, stage craft,

design and general impression.

(7) Vulgarity or bitter insinuations in presentation should be avoided. Only innocent satire or

humour is expected.

લઘ નાટક (સ્કીટ) (SKITS) :

સાંસ્થાદીઠ એક જૂથ જ ભાગ લઈ શકશે.

આ સ્પધાામાાં વધમુાાં વધ ુ૬ સ્પધાકો ભાગ લઈ શકશે.

દરેક રજૂઆિ માટે મહત્તમ સમય ૧૦ તમતનટ ફાળવાશે બશભષૂા, નેપથ્ય અને પાશ્ચાત ુસાંગીિનો ઉપયોગ કરી

શકાશે.

વ્યસ્ક્િગિ ટીકા, લાંગ કે ઘસાિા શબ્દપ્રયોગ િેમજ દહિંસાના રશ્યો રજૂ કરી શકાશે નહી.

નોંધણી સાથે લઘનુાટકના (ગજુરાિી, દહન્દ્દી, અંગે્રજી) તવષયવસ્તનુો લેચખિ ટૂાંકસાર ત્રણ નકલમાાં જોડવાનો રહશેે.

તનણાય મખુ્યત્વે નાટકીય રજૂઆિ, માંિકલા, તવષયવસ્ત ુઅને સમગ્ર અસર પર આધાદરિ રહશેે.

ચબભત્સ અને કટાક્ષથી દૂર રહી ફક્િ તનદોષ વ્યાંગ અને હાસ્ય અપેચક્ષિ રહશેે.

(c) Mime:

(1) Only one entry per institute will be entertained.

(2) Maximum number of six participants are allowed to participate in this item.

(3) Judgment will most likely be based on the qualities like idea, creativity of presentation, use of make-up, music and general impression.

(4) Duration of performance shall be maximum of 5 minutes.

મ ક અભિનય (માઈમ) (MIME) :

આ સ્પધાામાાં દરેક કૉલેજમાાંથી ઓછામાાં ઓછા એક અને વધમુાાં વધ ુછ સ્પધાકો મોકલી શકાશે.

આ સ્પધાાની સમયમયાાદા પાાંિ તમતનટની રહશેે

સ્પધાામાાં સ્પધાકે કોઈપણ પ્રાસાંચગક મકૂ અચભનય રજૂ કરવાનો રહશેે.

િથા સમગ્ર અસરને તનણાાયકો લક્ષમાાં લેશે

(d) Mimicry:

(1) Each student artist shall be given 5 minutes item both in the Zonal and Inter Zonal

Festivals.

(2) Participants may mimic sound of machines and speeches of will know persons etc.

including film personalities.

(3) Only one entry.

(4) Marking will be based on: (i) Skill imitating. (ii) Variety of sound and voices imitate. (iii) Presentation.

શ્ચમશ્ચમક્રી (MIMICRY) :

દરેક તવદ્યાથી કલાકારને આંિર કોલેજ / પ્રાદેતશક િથા રાષ્ટ્રીય યવુક મહોત્સવમાાં પોિાની કૃતિ રજૂ કરવા માટે

પાાંિ તમતનટની સમયમયાાદા આપવામાાં આવશે.

સ્પધાક મશીન િથા વાણીના અવાજથી દફલ્મ કલાકારો સદહિના ખ્યાિનામ વ્યસ્ક્િઓની તમતમક્રી કરી શકશે.

અનકુરણની પ્રતિભા, સમાજનુાં વૈતવધ્ય િથા સમગ્ર રજૂઆિને આધારે તનણાય લેવામાાં આવશે.

દરેક કૉલેજમાાંથી એક જ સ્પધાક ભાગ લઈ શકશે.

5. FINE ARTS

(a) On the Spot Painting:

(1) Each Institute will be represented by one participant.

(2) Item will be conducted on the spot and participants will be requested to do painting on the

subject given by the In charge (s) of the competition.

(3) Duration will not be more than 2 hours 30 minutes.

(4) Size of the painting will be half imperial size drawing paper i.e. 22 inches X 15 inches.

(5) Painting can be done in oil, water, poster or pastel colours.

(6) Candidate shall bring their own material like brushes, paints etc. Only the paper/ sheet will be

provided by the host institute.

ભચત્રકળા (શીધ્ર ભચત્ર સ્પર્ાા) (ON THE SPOT PAINTING) :

આ સ્પધાામાાં એક હદરફ ભાગ લઈ શકશે.

સ્પધાાના સાંિાલન િરફથી આપવામાાં આવેલ તવષય પર શીધ્ર ચિત્રકામ કરવાનુાં રહશેે.

આ સ્પધાાની સમયમયાાદા ૨ કલાક ૩૦ તમતનટની રહશેે.

ચિત્રકામ ડ્રોઈંગ પેપરની સાઈઝ ૨૨' X ૧૫''ની રહશેે.

ચિત્રકામ ઓઈલ, વોટર કલર, પોસ્ટર કલરમાાં કરી શકાશે.

યજમાન યતુનવતસિટી િરફથી માત્ર ડ્રોઈંગ પેપર પરૂા પાડવામાાં આવશે. જ્યારે સ્પધાકે આ સ્પધાા માટે િમામ સામગ્રી

જેવી કે બ્રશ, કલર, વગેરે લાવવાના રહશેે.

(b) Collage:


(2) Item will be conducted on the spot on the given topic / subject, sheet size 22” X 15”.


(4) Participants shall bring their own scissors, pasting and other material required for the contest.

(5) Collage has to be prepared from old magazines. The host University will provide the drawing

paper of the size 22” X 15”.

કોલાજ (COLLAGE):

દરેક સાંસ્થામાાંથી એક સ્પધાક પ્રતિતનતધત્વ કરી શકશે.

નમનૂો નક્કી કરેલા સ્થાને તવષય બનાવવાનો રહશેે. પેપર સાઈઝનુાં માપ ૧૫” X ૨૨”.

સમયમયાાદા ૨ કલાક ૩૦ તમતનટ રહશેે.

સ્પધાકોએ પોિાની કાિર, ગુાંદર અને અન્દ્ય સામગ્રી લાવવાની રહશેે.

કોલાજ જૂના સામતયકોમાાંથી બનાવવાનુાં રહશેે. યતુનવતસિટી દ્વારા ૧૫” X ૨૨”ના માપનો જાડો કાગળ (ડ્રોઈગ પેપર)

આપવામાાં આવશે.

(c) Poster Making:


(2) Item will be conducted on the spot and the participants will be requested to do poster making

on the subject / topic / theme given by the In- charge of the competition.


(4) Participants shall bring their own material. Only the Drawing paper/ Sheet 22” x 15” will be

provided by the organizers.

પોસ્ટર મેકકિંગ (POSTER MAKING):

દરેક સાંસ્થામાાંથી એક સ્પધાક જ પ્રતિતનતધત્વ કરી શકશે.

ભાગ લેનાર સ્પધાકને સ્પધાાના તનયકુ્િ કરેલિેરમેન િરફથી આપવામાાં આવેલ તવષય-મદુ્દા પર પોસ્ટર બનાવવાનુાં

રહશેે. જે ચિત્રકામ નથી પરાંત ુિેમાાં ગ્રાફીક્સ અને ટેસ્ટનુાં સાંયોજન છે.

સ્પધાાની સમયમયાાદા બે કલાસ ત્રીસ તમતનટની રહશેે.

દરેક સ્પધાકે સ્પધાાને લગિા સાધન-સામગ્રી સાથે લાવવાના રહશેે. ૨૨” X ૧૫”ની સાઈઝનાાં ડ્રોઈંગ પેપરશીટ

યતુનવતસિટી િરફથી આપવામાાં આવશે.

(d) Clay Modeling:


(2) Item will be conducted on the spot.


(4) Topics/ size and other specific rules shall be announced on the spot.

(5) Clay shall be provided by the host institute.

કલે મોડેલીંગ (CLAY MODELING)

સ્પધાક માનવી, પશ ુકે પક્ષીના મોડલ પણૂા અથવા સપાટી પર ઉપસાવીને બનાવી શકશે. તવષય સ્પધાા સમયે

આપવામાાં આવશે.

દરેક સાંસ્થામાાંથી એક સ્પધાક પ્રતિતનતધત્વ કરી શકશે.

નમનૂો નક્કી કરેલ સમય અને સ્થાને બનાવવાનો રહશેે.

સ્પધાા માટે ૨ કલાક ૩૦ તમતનટનો મહત્તમ સમય રહશેે.

સ્પધાકો પોિાની જરૂરી માટી, તસન્દ્થટીક માટી અથવા જરૂરી સામગ્રી પોિે લાવવાની રહશેે.

બનાવેલ નમનૂાની ઊંિાઈ ૧૦’’થી ઓછી ન હોવી જોઈએ.

(e) Cartooning:


(2) Item will be conducted on the spot on the given subject/ idea.


(4) Participants shall bring their own material. Only the Drawing paper 22” x 15” will be provided

by the host University.

કાર્ ા શ્ચનિંગ (CARTOONING)

દરેક કૉલેજ એક સ્પધાક મોકલી શકશે.

િત્કાળ આપવામાાં આવેલા તવષય અંગેની આઈટમ રજૂ કરવાની રહશેે.

બે કલાક અને ૩૦ તમતનટથી વધારે સમયમયાાદા રહશેે નહીં.

૨૨” X ૧૫”નો ડ્રોઈંગ પેપરસ્પધાકને આપવામાાં આવશે િે તસવાયની િમામ સામગ્રી સ્પધાકે પોિાની લાવવાની

રહશેે.

(f) Rangoli:


(2) Duration will not be more than 2 hours 30 minutes.Participants shall bring their own

material. This art is know differently in various regions such as Mandna, Alpana, Alekhan,

Kolam, Rangoli, etc. For this the medium and form for expression can be free hand,

pictorial and descriptive

(3) Only one medium shall be used – Poster Colours or Flower Petals or Saw- dust or Pulses

or Rice without pasting.

(4) The Participants shall have to prepare a rangoli within the space provided by the organizers.

રંગોળી (RANGOLI) :

દરેક કૉલેજમાાંથી પસાંદ થયેલ એક જ તવદ્યાથી સ્પધાામાાં ભાગ લઈ શકશે.

િત્કાળ રાંગોળી સ્પધાા, યોજવામાાં આવશે, રાંગોળી કામ સ્થળ પર જ આપેલ જગ્યામાાં જ કરવાનુાં રહશેે.

સ્પધાાનો સમય અઢી કલાકનો રહશેે. રાંગોળી સ્પધાા માટે જરૂરી સાધનો-સામગ્રી સ્પધાકે લાવવાની રહશેે.

રાંગોળી સ્પધાાનો તવષય તનણાાયકો િરફથી આપવામાાં આવશે.

તનણાાયકો સમગ્ર કૃતિનુાં મલૂ્યાાંકન કરશે.

(g) Spot Photography:

1. A college/Institution can send one participant.

2. The participant has to bring his/her own digital camera.

3. The digital camera should have a memory card which will be formatted by the judges before the

commencement of the contest.

4. The time limit will be 2.30 hours.

5. The participant has to capture 5 photographs on the theme announced on the spot by the judges.

6. No mixing, matching or morphing of photographs will be permitted.

7. Software such as Photoshop etc. for enhancing images not permitted.

8. The organizers will have all rights for the use of these pictures as and when they deem fit.

9. Digital images are evaluated on the basis of (I) IMPACT, (II) COMPOSITION. (III) TECHNICAL

QUALITY, and (IV) SUITABILITY for the specific theme.

10. The additional instructions will be announced on the spot.

તત્કાલ છબીલા : એક કૉલેજ/સાંસ્થા એક સ્પધાને મોકલી શકશે.

સ્પધાકે પોિાનો ડીજીટલ કેમેરો સાથે લાવવાનો રહશેે, જે ૧૨ મેગા પીક્સલથી વધારે ન હોવો જોઈએ.

ડીજીટલ કેમેરામાાં મેમરી કાડા હોવુાં જરૂરી છે સ્પધાા પવેૂ તનણાાયકોને િકાસવાનુાં

સમયમયાાદા ૦૨:૩૦ કલાકની રહશેે.

તનણાાયકો દ્વારા સ્પધાાના સમયે જ જે તવષય (થીમ) જાહરે થાય િેના ઉપર સ્પધાકે ૦૫ િસ્વીરો ઝીલવાની રહશેે.

િસ્વીરોમાાં મીક્સીંગ, મેિીંગ અથવા મોરફીંગની માંજૂરી આપવામાાં આવશે નહીં.

એનહને્દ્સીંગ ઈમેજીસ માટે ફોટોશોપ વગેરે સોફટવેરની માંજૂરી આપવામાાં આવશે નહીં.

સ્પધાામાાં પ્રામ િસ્વીરોનો, યોગ્ય જણાય ત્યાાં ઉપયોગ કરવા માટે આયોજક સાંસ્થાઓનો િમામ અબાધીિ અતધકાર

રહશેે.

(૧) પ્રભાવ (૨) સાંયોજન (૩) પ્રવૈશ્વક સ્િર અને (૪) સસુાંગિિા-સયુોગ્યિા અને આધારોમાાં ડીજીટલ ઈમેજીસના

ગણુાાંકો માન્દ્ય ગણાશે.

વધારાની સિૂનાઓ સ્પધાા સમયે – િે ક્ષણે જ – જણાવવામાાં આવશે.

(h) Installation: ( This event Not included in Saurashtra University)

Install or create an atmosphere related with the subject or title of the installation. The size of

the installation should be 5'x5'x5' maximum.

1. Participants can use all the material which they use in other art compositions like

cartooning, painting, rangoli, poster, collage and clay modeling.

2. Participants can use waste material also which is available in the surroundings or can take

any material from outside also.

3. Participants are not allowed to use any already composed images or forms available in the

market. They should compose or create their own image with the raw material.

4. This is a group activity as four (4) participants can participate but they will create only one

installation whose size must not be bigger than 5'x'5'x5'.

(i) Mehandi: ( This event Not included in Saurashtra University)

1. The due credit will be given on originality, creativity, decorative art with aesthetic sense.

2. Use of hand print, any kind of mold and any kind of decorative material is not allowed.

3. The participant has to bring its own Mehendi and other materials required for it.

4. The total duration for completing the painting shall not exceed 2½ hours.

5. The Mehendi must be extended to the palmer side forearm with minimum six inch length.

6. The participant has to draw the Mehendi on palmer side of both hands of the model. The

model should be the student of the same university.

7. Each participating institute/university can depute only 1 student participant.

આગામી યવુક મહોત્સવમાાં નીિેની બાબિોનુાં ખાસ ધ્યાન લેવાનુાં રહશેે.

૧. ધો. ૧૨મુાં પાસ કયાા બાદ જે તવદ્યાથી દડગ્રી કોસા અથવા િો પી.જી. કોસા િેમજ દડતલોમા કોસા માટે રજજસ્ટર

થયા હોય અન ે જેઓ ૧ વષાના અભ્યાસક્રમમાાં જોડાયેલ હોય અન ેજેની પરીક્ષા સૌરાષ્ટ્ર યતુનવતસિટી દ્વારા લેવાનાર હોય િેવા જ તવદ્યાથીઓ ભાગ લઈ શકશ.ે

૨. ધો. ૧૨ પાસ કયાા બાદ ૭ વષા સધુી જ ભાગ લઈ શકાશે.

૩. ૧લી જુલાઈના રોજ જેની ઉંમર ૨૫ વષા ન થિી હોય િેવા તવદ્યાથીઓ ભાગ લઈ શકશે. (૨૫ વષાથી ઉપરની ઉંમરના તવદ્યાથીઓ ભાગ લઈ શકશ ેનહીં.)

૪. અભ્યાસક્રમના સામાન્દ્ય સમયગાળાથી એક વષા વધ ુભાગ લઈ શકશ.ે

(દા.િ. :- બી.એ.નો ત્રણ વષાનો અભ્યાસક્રમ છે િો કોઈ તવદ્યાથી એકાદ વષા રીપીટર હોય િો ૩ + ૧ = ૪ વષા ભાગ લઈ શકે અન ેપી.જી. કોસામાાં ૨ + ૧ = ૩ વષા ભાગ લઈ શકશ.ે)

લઈ શકશ ેનહી. ૯. એન્દ્રી ફોમામાાં જે સ્પધાામાાં ભાગ લેવાનો ન હોય િમેાાં તનલ માદહિી ભરીને મોકલી આપવી. િેમજ એન્દ્રી

ફોમાનો ઝેરોક્ષ કરીને ઉપયોગ કરવો નહીં. ઝેરોક્ષ ફોમા રદબાિલ કરવામાાં આવશે.

(૩) ડીગ્રી કે પોસ્ટ ગ્રેજ્યએુટ અભ્યાસક્રમમાાં િાલ ુવષે અભ્યાસ કરિા ફૂલ ટાઈમ તવદ્યાથીઓ જ યથુ

ફેસ્ટીવલમાાં ભાગ લેવા માટેની લાયકાિ ધરાવે છે.

(૪) તવદ્યાથી યથુ ફેસ્ટીવલ સ્પધાામાાં કોઈ એક જ અભ્યાસક્રમ / કૉલેજ કે દડપાટામેન્દ્ટ દ્વારા જ ભાગ લઈ

Rules Pertaining to Inter College Level Youth Festival Events

પાદપશૂ્ચતિ (આંતર કૉલેજ સ્તર સ ર્ી જ) (PADPURTI):

પાદપતૂિિ ગજુરાિી અથવા દહન્દ્દી ભાષામાાં કરવાની રહશેે.

પાદપતૂિિનો સમય એક કલાકનો રહશેે.

પાદપતૂિિ માટે ત્રણ થી િાર જુદી જુદી પાંસ્ક્િઓ આપવામાાં આવશે, જેમાાંથી સ્પધાકે કોઈપણ એક પાંસ્ક્િ ઉપર

પાદપતૂિિ કરવાની રહશેે.

પાદપતૂિિ માટે આપેલી પાંસ્ક્િમાાં બે કે ત્રણ પાંસ્ક્િઓ કે િેથી વધ ુપાંસ્ક્િઓ ઉમેરી શકાશે.

દરેક કૉલેજમાાં પસાંદ થયેલ એક તવદ્યાથી સ્પધાામાાં ભાગ લઈ શકશે.

ગઝલ, શાયરી કાવ્ય લેખન કાવ્ય પઠન ગઝલ-શાયરી અને કાવ્યલેખન અને કાવ્યપઠ્ન (આંતર કૉલેજ સ્તર સ ર્ી જ)

ગઝલ-શાયરી-કાવ્યલેખન ગજુરાિી અથવા દહન્દ્દી ભાષામાાં લખી શકાશે.

કૃતિ રિવા માટે એક કલાકનો સમય રહશેે.

ગઝલ-શાયરી-કાવ્ય માટે સ્પધાકને ત્રણ થી િાર જુદા જુદા તવષયો આપવામાાં આવશે, જેમાાંથી હદરફે કોઈ પણ એક

તવષય ઉપર રિના કરવાની રહશેે અને ત્યારબાદ િેનુાં પઠન કરવાનુાં રહશેે જે માટે વધમુાાં વધ ુપાાંિ તમતનટ આપવામાાં

આવશે.

એક કૉલેજમાાંથી એક તવદ્યાથી સ્પધાામાાં ભાગ લઈ શકશે.

Hastakala

હસ્તકલા હોબી :-(ફતત આંતર કૉલેજ સ્પર્ાા માટે જ)

આ સ્પધાામાાં કેટવકા , ભરિ ગ ૂાંથણ, વાાંસ કામ, ઘાસના નમનૂા અને િેના જેવા અન્દ્ય હસ્િકળાના નમનૂાની કૃતિઓ

રજૂ કરી શકાશે. કોઈપણ હદરફ વધમુાાં વધ ુબે નમનૂા રજૂ કરી શકશે.

તનણાાયકો, હદરફોને પોિાની કુશળિા બિાવવા નક્કી કરેલા સમયમાાં નમનૂો િૈયાર કરવાનુાં જણાવી શકશે. જેના

માટે જરૂરી સાધનો િથા અન્દ્ય સરજામ હદરફે પોિાના લાવવાના રહશેે. પ્રદશાન માટે રજૂ કરવામાાં આવેલ નમનૂો

તનણાાયક સતમતિને યોગ્ય કક્ષાનો લાગશે િો જ પ્રદશાન કરવા દેવામાાં આવશે.

આ સાંગ્રહનુાં પ્રદશાન યોજવામાાં આવશે અને તનણાાયકો િેનુાં સમગ્રદતશિ મલૂ્યાાંકન કરશે.હદરફે તનયિ જગ્યામાાં જ

પ્રદશાન ગોઠવવાનુાં રહશેે.

આ પ્રવતૃત્ત દ્વારા આજીતવકા મેળવનાર વ્યસ્ક્િ સ્પધાામાાં ભાગ લઈ શકશે નદહ.

સ્પધાકે પોિાના નમનૂાઓની તવગિો પ્રવેશપત્રમાાં ભરવાની રહશેે.

જે-િે કૉલેજ પસાંદ કરેલ એક વ્યસ્ક્િને સ્પધાામાાં મોકલી શકશે.

સ્પધાામાાં પ્રકાર પ્રમાણે ઓછામાાં ઓછા ત્રણ અને વધમુાાં વધ ુપાાંિ કલાકનો સમય અપાશે.

Sarjanatmak Karigiri

સર્જનાત્મક કારીગીરીીઃ (ફતત આંતર કૉલેજ સ્પર્ાા માટે જ).

આ સ્પધાામાાં નકામી િેમજ બહ ુદકિંમિી ન હોય િેવી વસ્તઓુ જેવી કે, બાંગડીઓના કાિ, લાકડાનો વેર, ઇલાયિીના

છોડા જેવી સામગ્રી િેમજ પત્થરના ટકૂડા, રેિી, િામડુાં, તલાસ્સ્ટક, કાપડ વગેરેમાાંથી સ્થળ પર નમનૂા િૈયાર કરવામાાં

આવશે. કાિી સામગ્રીનો નાણાકીય વ્યય જેમ લઘતુ્તમ અને િૈયાર નમનૂાની દકિંમિ ગરુૂત્તમ િેમ નમનૂો શે્રષ્ટ્ઠ ગણાય

િેવી મલૂ્યાાંકનની જોગવાઈની સિૂના સ્પધાકે લક્ષ્યમાાં રાખવી.

દરેક સ્પધાકને અલાયદી જગ્યા આપવામાાં આવશે.

સ્પધાામાાં પ્રકાર પ્રમાણે ઓછામાાં ઓછા ત્રણ અને વધમુાાં વધ ુપાાંિ કલાકનો સમય અપાશે.

જરૂરી સાધનો િથા સરજામ સ્પધાકે પોિે લાવવાના રહશેે. યોગ્ય જણાશે િે નમનૂા પ્રદતશિિ કરવા દેવામાાં આવશે.

જે નમનૂો િૈયાર કરવાનો હોય િેની દકિંમિ પ્રવેશપત્રમાાં જણાવવાની રહશેે.

પસાંદ કરેલ એક તવદ્યાથી જ કૉલેજદીઠ આ સ્પધાામાાં ભાગ લઈ શકશે.

Bhajan

િજન (INTER COLLEGE LEVEL) : ફતત આંતર કૉલેજ માટે.

દરેક કૉલેજ આ સ્પધાા માટે માત્ર એક હદરક પસાંદ કરી મોકલી શકશે.

આ સ્પધાામાાં ભજનની કોઈ એક કૃતિ રજૂ કરી શકાશે.

આ સ્પધાાની સમયમયાાદા ૭ તમતનટની રહશેે.

ભજનની રજૂઆિમાાં સમહૂની જરૂદરયાિ જણાિી હોય િો ટકૂડીની મદદ લઈ શકાશે.

વાજજિંત્રમાાં માત્ર દરધમનો આશરો લઈ શકાશે.

Duha Chand

(૧૦) દ હા-છંદ (INTER COLLEGE LEVEL): ફતત આંતર કૉલેજ માટે,

આ સ્પધાામાાં દરેક કૉલેજમાાંથી એક અથવા બે પસાંદ થયેલા સ્પધાકો ભાગ લઈ શકશે.

સ્પધાાની સમયમયાાદા ત્રણ થી પાિ તમતનટની રહશેે.

આ સ્પધાામાાં કોઈપણ પ્રકારના સાજીદા કે સહાયકો લેવા દેવામાાં આવશે નદહ.

આ સ્પધાા માટે જે કૉલેજોએ બે સ્પધાકો મોકલ્યા હશે િે સ્પધાકોએ સામસામા સવાલ જવાબના રૂબરૂમાાં દુહા-છાંદ

ગાવાના રહશેે. િેમને સાંયકુ્િ રીિે પાાંિ થી સાિ તમતનટનો સમય આપવામાાં આવશે

સ્પધાામાાં માત્ર દુહા, માત્ર છાંદ અથવા બાંને ગાઈ શકાશે.

Halarda

હાલરડા ગાન :

હાલરડા ગાન સ્પધાામાાં સ્પધાકે વધારેમાાં વધારે ૦૫ - પાાંિ તમતનટની સમયમયાાદામાાં હાલરડુાં પણૂા કરવાનુાં રહશેે.

હાલરડામાાં સાાંજીદાઓનો ઉપયોગ કરી શકાશે. હાલરડામાાં શબ્દો, ભાવ, લય, સમગ્ર દેખાવ, સ્વર અને િાલ િથા

સ્વરચિિનાાં માકા આપવામાાં આવશે. ગજુરાિી - દહન્દ્દી - અંગે્રજી કે કોઈપણ ભાષાના લોક હાલરડા કે દફલ્મી

હાલરડા પણ રજૂ કરી શકાશે.

દરેક કોલેજમાાંથી ફક્િ ૦૨ (બે) સ્પધાકો ભાગ લઈ શકશે.

Lok Geet

લોકગીત (FOLK ORCHESTRA) :

દરેક કૉલેજ આ સ્પધાા માટે માત્ર એક હદરફ પસાંદ કરી મોકલી શકશે.

આ સ્પધાામાાં લોકગીિની કોઈ એક કૃતિ રજૂ કરી શકાશે

આ સ્પધાાની સમયમયાાદા સાિ તમતનટની રહશેે

લોકગીિ રજૂ કરનાર સ્પધાકે અપ્રિચલિ લોકગીિ શોધીને રજૂ કરવુાં ઇચ્છનીય ગણાશે.

લોકગીિની રજૂઆિમાાં સમહૂની જરૂદરયાિ જણાિી હોય િો સમહૂગીિની ટકૂડીની મદદ લઈ શકાશે.

વાજજિંત્રમાાં માત્ર દરધમનો આશરો લઈ શકાશે.

Short Film Making (Group Event)

Each participating college / institute / department can submit a single Short Film.

It will be solely the responsibility of the participating college / institute / department to

take the censor certificate of the short film from concerned authorities.

The competition is based on the concept of film hence no any documentary will be

accepted.

The contents / dialogues / lyrics / music of the film should not hurt the feelings of any

person, society, religion, etc.

Duration of the films shall not be more than seven minutes including the beginning and end

credits. Films exceeding this time limit are liable to be rejected. The minimum length should

be thirty seconds including credits.

The film should have been shot / completed after Aug./Sept. /31, 2020.

The short films may be in any regional language, but may be / must be subtitled in English.

Films submitted previously to any other competition/festival will not be considered for this

competition / festival. If found later, will be disqualified for the contest / prize withheld.

The films may be shot in MPEG4 or AVI format. The recommended ratios are: 16:9 / 16:9

Full Height Anamorphic – in DV / HDV.

The participating students have to perform all Lead / Side Roles in the Short Film.

Students may perform the Direction, Script Writing, Dialogue Writing, Lyrics, Music

Direction, Camera Shooting, Light, Art Direction, Editing, etc. or they can invite other

persons for the same. But due credit will be given if students performed Direction, Script

Writing, Dialogue Writing, Lyrics, Music Direction, Camera Shooting, Light, Art Direction,

Editing, etc.

Saurashtra University Rajkot shall not be held responsible for any unauthorized use of the

content by any third party and Department of Physical Education, Saurashtra University,

Rajkot does not guarantee the posting of any content.

Films once selected and submitted for final screening will not be allowed to be withdrawn

under any circumstances.

All films are judged equally based on: Content Originality (Quality of storyline, and script),

Production (Camera work, lighting and shot composition), Post-Production (Editing,

transitions, pacing, continuity, and flow), Image (Focus, colour, and lighting) and Sound

Quality (Clarity, consistency of audio levels, and lack of noise)

AWARDS & TROPHIES:

Performance of different individuals/teams will be adjudged only as 1st , 2 nd

and 3rd in Inter College Youth Festivals in all items of competition and they will

qualify for the Zonal National Youth Festival.

Medals/ Trophy will be given to 1 st and 2 nd positions only but certificates

will be awarded to all three position holders.

Inter College Youth Festival

1. Certificate of participation will be given to each participant & certificate of merit

will be given to top three of each event.

2. Trophies to be given to each winner (1-2-3)

Points System:

• Group Events – Winner – 8 points - 1st Runner up – 5 points - 2nd Runner up - 3

points

• Solo Events - Winner – 5 points - 1 st Runner up – 3 points - 2 nd Runner up – 1
