In a separate, county-wide program, our Palm Beach Council awards $1000

scholarships to selected graduating seniors who have been accepted into a college

level ROTC program. These scholarships are endowed by council member Merry

O’Donnell and are named for our esteemed past president Commander Norm Daly.

Two of the three CDR Norm Daly Scholarship recipients for 2014 were among the

cadets being honored as top performers at the Youth Recognition Dinner. They

received their $1000 Daly Scholarship checks and framed certificate from Council

President Frank Drennan and scholarship sponsor Merry O’Donnell.
