Registering for classes is easy. You may stop by our office
or you can register online with a credit card at:

Late Fees/Discounts:
To avoid a late fee, you must register for a class prior to the start date. A $25 late fee is charged if you register the same
day the class/program begins. Classes may be cancelled due to low participation, so please register at least a week
before the class begins! NEW! Active Duty Military members, Reservists, and Veterans will receive a 10% discount with
appropriate proof of a military I.D., or a DD-214. Seniors (60+) can also continue to receive a 10% discount with
appropriate proof of a birth certificate, driver’s license, or passport. Proof must be presented upon initial registration.
Refund Policy:
Fees are Non-Refundable. If the class/program is cancelled due to lack of participants, you will receive a full refund.
Otherwise there are NO refunds. Credit Card convenience fees are Non-Refundable.
After School Class Reminders for Parents:
Please write your child’s teacher a note, including the name of the class, dates, and room location. To ensure a
smooth dismissal at OHES & VES, you must include a note each week in your child’s backpack. If your child
attends an extended program (YMCA, KC, GGS, etc.) and will not be picked up by you, you must notify the After
school program and the Montgomery Recreation instructor. A note is required on the first day of the session. All
children must be picked up outside the front entrance of the school. The front doors will be locked - please wait
for the instructor! Please be considerate and arrive five minutes prior to the end of class to pick up your child. Late
pick-up charges will be assessed and applied as needed. If you register for a class at the Otto Kaufman Community
Center, you must provide transportation - it is NOT provided from School to the Community Center. Thank you!

Princess Ballet: Dancers will learn the basics of ballet surrounded by the familiar music & props, wand, tutus of their favorite characters.
Tap/Jazz: A fun, creative class for young children to learn basic tap & jazz choreography using music and games. Tap or hard-soled

Broadway Dance Kids: An upbeat class that teaches Broadway style jazz choreography & show stopping stage presence with a focus on learning song & dance numbers from a variety of musical productions, past & present. Class consists of a warm-up, theater games
& choreography. We focus on a new musical each week. All students should wear leotard & tights. Long hair should be tied back and off face & neck.

After-School Robotics An excellent way to cultivate interest in STEM as well as
encourage problem-solving skills, teamwork and creativity is to design, build and program robots! After-school
Robotics at LMS offers a great mix of experiential, hands-
on learning through building, coding, problem-solving, and more! Students will use LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3
kits to learn the fundamentals and they will be faced with a new robotics challenge every week. Whether students
are new to robotics, have experience or want to prepare to participate in First Lego League (FLL), this class offers
something for everyone. Class limit is 20 students.

AQUATICS PROGRAMS Little Swimmers Designed specifically towards our youngest swimmers, whether they are new or experienced.
Beginner Aimed at our older “new to the pool”. Objective is to build water confidence, introduce basic stroke, and floating. Pool safety is also taught.
Advanced Beginner I For those in need of assistance on their front or back. Build on water confidence, basic strokes, kicking, and breath control.
Advanced Beginner II Must be able to swim at least 15 feet without assistance. Must be comfortable gliding & floating with their face in the water. Strokes, kicking, and breath control taught; treading/diving introduced.
Intermediate/Advanced Must be able to swim at least 50 yards on both front and back, tread water and be comfortable in deep water. Stroke refinement, endurance and water safety are emphasized.
Diving (Springboard) Program 1: Beginner
New to the sport and those with basic understanding of
front and back take-offs with jumps. Front dives and back dives helpful.

Marlins Fall Term Training COACH ASSESSED for assignment Group 1: Performance Development
Swimmers must be able to swim 30 lengths of the pool. For those needing refinement in freestyle and backstroke, and in early stages of breaststroke and
butterfly.
Group 2: Performance
Swimmers must be able to swim at least 1500 yards during training. Designed for those proficient in
freestyle, backstroke, and must be able to do either breaststroke or butterfly. Focus on refining strokes,
and improving IMS, turns, and starts.
Marlins Competitive Team COACH ASSESSED for assignment. Group 1: Development
Swimmers must be able to complete two lengths of the pool unaided. Must be comfortable in deep water. Basic stroke of freestyle and backstroke.
Group 2: Performance Development
Swimmers must be able to swim 30 lengths of the pool. For those needing refinement in freestyle and backstroke, and in early stages of breaststroke and
butterfly.
Group 3: Performance
Swimmers must be able to swim at least 1500 yards during training. Designed for those proficient in
freestyle, backstroke, and must be able to do either
breaststroke or butterfly. Focus on refining strokes, and improving IMS, turns, and starts.
Lap Swim Memberships Times: 9pm, Sat: 9:30-2pm
(Senior Citizen Swim): M-Fri: 5:30-6pm

This exciting new offering is open to families on the 1st
and 3rd Saturday during the fall (Sept-Oct) 12:15-1:45 (subject to schedule change.) All swimmers must be toilet
trained. Swimmers under 13 MUST have an adult in the water w/them at all times
Price: $40 for a dip-ticket (each swimmer counts as a
visit. Each ticket is for 20 dips)
